It doesn't look so much like a manga as it does just a black & white version of the original comic book. If I wanted that, I could just grayscale filter the pages on my computer.
An even better idea would be to save copies of the inked pages and reprint a lineart version of the comic as a manga. Surely by now, they should know enough to expect to have a manga printed of the comics.

Considering some manga originating in Japan is published in Western print order and even in English, this seems a particularly odd criteria.
