Wow its just as big! and looks much better since it's neck doesn't fold back look like a goose neck. This will be the last prime figure I'll buy.

Physically he looks more accurate. Colors stink. Articulation actually looks about the same. only difference seems to be that this new one seems to have articulated ankles instead of Beast Fire's wrists. I really like the Beast Fire one, but Hasbro is now making me hate that decision a little.

besides the tail being too sword to look right in beast mode, this is actually a pretty nice looking mold. and its voyager so should only be in the 20$ range

umm.. beast fire predaking has both articulated wrists and ankles..

umm.. beast fire predaking has both articulated wrists and ankles..

I wonder how this "Voyager" compares to the Ultimate and older Voyager Predakings, and other similarly-sized TFs, 'cause you just know somebody at Hasbro's asking "Why the hell do we bother doing anything else?"

really?? Simplified?? Beast fire predaking wasnt that complicated to begin with. Ima get this to see if their parts are inter-changable cuz together they would make 1 great toy in my opinion

I like the improvement, but, the neck needed articulation or that same firing mechanic.
Otherwise, I like it, it is built to take abuse & looks so much better.

Not sure what to think about this one... 
On one hand I already have a Voyager Predaking but the joints in his legs are quite loose and he can't hold onto his sword, plus I'm not that fond of the rubber used on his head(s), hands and feet. On the other hand this looks like a pretty good figure, but the sword doesn't look that great in Beast Mode.

So aside from maybe an increase in price and the simplicity of it, what's Hasbros excuse for this Voyager being huge enough to dwarf other voyagers and deluxe fugures yet charge far more then it cost a couple years ago?

I think this one looks much better. I'm sad to encourage the cheapness of Hasbro, but at the same time, if they can't engineer a decent Voyager, but an upscaled Cyberverse guy is better...at least I'm paying the real company rather than some KO merchants.
Sad they never upsized the awesome viking BH Bulkhead though.

looks to much like a KO and im sure itll feel like one as well, plus the sword in beast node looks extremely stupid so ill pass on this. A shame cause the size of it would make it worth the $20 price tag.

As I've already got Beast Fire Predaking I think I'll pass on this. In fact the only supersized commander class figure I want is Hardshell. So come on Hasbro!

I have a feeling that this will be a HUGE piece of crap. Looks nice, but I bet it will feel so cheap and hollow. I don't like how the legs and the hands transform. It's a minor nitpick but that seems like how a legends figure would transform.

It IS how a Legends figure transforms. Well, a Cyberverse Commander, to be precise -- "simplified Voyager" Predaking is essentially an oversized version of the Cyberverse mold, just with every part resculpted to Voyager quality (and some other tooling changes here and there).
