One of the greatest things to happen to the Transformers franchise happened in the last 2 weeks: the release of the pictures of the upcoming Transformers: Armada UNICRON figure which will be available early this summer. The figure will retail for about $49.99
Initially reported that Unicron is 13" tall but is now rumored he is 18" tall
The minicon is named "Nebulon" (a nod to the Headmasters saga from ´87)
The Star Saber can be attached to Unicron´s back which activates the chest missle
The legs and stomach of Unicron can act has Minicon storage compartments
Missiles are launched when a Mini-Con attaches on the lower legs above his feet
Unicron´s planet mode is more egg-shaped than ball-shaped
There are 24 minicon ports on the outer rings
Unicron will be packaged in robot mode due to his large size
Both the eyes and the right hand light up
It is rumored that the Armada packaging may get an update to reflect Unicron´s arrival titled Transformers: Armada "The Unicron Battles"
