E-Hobby Encore Black Megatron - BBTS Images & Info

BBTS gives us another image of the upcoming e-Hobby exclusive Black Megatron. This figure is slated be released in February.

Many of you have already guessed that the figure will be fitted with an orange plug so that it can pass through customs, and comply with toy safety laws. This means that the boxes will be opened before they arrive to the U.S. and an orange plug will be inserted into the barrel. BBTS also explains that the orange plug will affect the use of the silencer. Here is what they had to say:

Updated Information: The orange plug attached to the Megatron hinders the use of the silencer. The silencer attachment will not fit over the orange plug, we apologize for this inconvenience! A small slit in the inner plastic packaging was made so the extra length of the tip would fit back inside the tight packaging.

You can view the description and details here.

Did anyone deal with BBTS for the Encore Megs? Was the plug attached with any gunk or did it just pull out?

I wonder if they'll do an MP megs in this color scheme?

Seems like the only repaint option for MP megs.

Eh, I'm happy with Masterpiece Megatron. Same cost for an older, inferior design toy doesn't do it for me.

Not Encore Megs, but I got MP Megs from them with a plug. It did have some sort of adhesive, but it was still removable with a pair of pliers and left no permanent residue behind. Just a quick twist and pull... I can't recall if I had to wipe away any rubbery glue crap or not after removal, but I do know looking at it now, you wouldn't know there was once a plug in him.

How is defacing the toy considered an "inconvenience"? Better to get it from TFSource. They don't glue them in. I got Masterpiece Megs from them and the piece popped right out and promply went into the garbage where it belongs. Why does BBTS feel the need to glue the damn things in? It makes the Hulk angry and not want to buy from them.
