Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Cyberpath, we have news that Loopaza Mega Store has put up their scans of the regularly scheduled Figure King Magazine, and #265 features some of the new Takara products that have been shown off this month.

Most prominent among the scans are images of Masterpiece Tigatron and Arcee, who were just revealed a few weeks ago over in Japan. Tigatron features some images of him standing side by side with Dinobot and Cheetor, and showcasing some robot and beast mode poses that he is most known for from the Beast Wars cartoon. Big Cat and Little Cat have reunited once more!

Arcee also gets a page, showing off her visor that she once used in the Battle of Autobot City in the 1986 movie, including some art of the character mode, and showing off some of her poses.

On the same page as Arcee, we also get to see Studio Series Megatron, Scavenger, and a smaller image of Devastator, who was revealed at the same time as Arcee and Tigatron.

Goddammit. That Arcee have the ugliest backpack ever!
Rouge look way better than the official MP. Unfortunately, Rouge transform by exploding and hoping for the best.

Maybe one day we will have a clean looking Arcee that is fun to transform...

Also, still hoping that that G1 Unicron finally getting produced. I want to own that retro bot so bad!

I was wrong then when I wrote it must have been mistransformed. Turns out it was misdesigned.

So far, she's the best. Transformation don't look daunting like Rouge and she's at the right size. Plus her backpack is much better looking than the MP. However, I don't like the fact that you must change her hands for the fists to transform her and her chest hinge is pretty unsightly.

So Azalea is pretty damn close to perfection. but I'm not paying 100$+ for a "close enough" figure. Of course, final judgement about the official MP will be when YouTube reviewers finally have her in hands and show us how she properly work.

Let's hope it's the usual "can't transform for shayt" syndrome and the in hand images will be better. For now, all we can do is wait and see.

Despite all negativity that mp arcee is getting
What do you expect you can't have a cartoon accurate robot turn into a cartoon accurate vehicle and not have a backpack
With all things considering she looks pretty good anyway
She has all the right proportions

To be fair, A. Arcee's cartoon backpack is unrealistically compact since it's largely just her front fenders and B. her human-style legs offer less opportunity for stashing panels. But there was some possibility there... And they could have made her hips part of the car's aft like the Thrilling 30 toy did. The MP designers need to knock it the smeg off with the disappearing tires already.

Looking at her from the front she looks pretty good
I think the backpack isn't that bad

Loopaza Mega Store has scanned the latest issue of the Figure King Magazine, which offers new image for several upcoming figures. Due to brand unification, many of the ones shown, like the Netflix figures, the studio series figures and the Cyberverse deluxe figures, don,t offer anything new. But we do get a nice new photo of Arcee which seems to confirm that what we saw, with the lower chest plate, was not a mistake. The side view clearly shows that this position lines up the detail accordingly.

The big star of this spread is of course Super Megatron, and we get many nice new photos of him, so enjoy!

This month Magazine Figure King Transformers focus on the coming up Generation Selects: Super Megatron. There also cover on all the lines latest release and update on the MP Arcee, price will be 17,600 JPY and release in coming winter.

Aha, so that's how Super Megatron's chest works.

And speaking of chests, good gravy, Arcee's torso armor looks even lower than before!

Yeah, Arcee's chest just ruins the whole figure for me. She was always going to be a tough figure to do, but they should have really thought that through more.
