I really like this, and I can see the idea of this figure. In the Transformers Ride, didn't he have this exact look, minus the broken fusion lobster claw cannon?

So he's like the costumed photo-op character that taunts park guests (if you haven't seen him in person or watched him on Youtube, he's hilarious).

yeah thats exactly who that is, now that I think of it.

Nothing is better than that video outside the ride where a little boy brought him optimus’s head and he praised the boy and told him to keep it as a trophy for himself

Yep, he has a slightly tweaked version of the ROTF murder arm (seemingly without the larger blade)
I’m really liking this repaint! Makes me wonder if we’ll see more Universal exclusive SS repaints.

Someone needs to make a voice chip for this guy that contains the best of his park guests roasts.

Ok if murder arm isn’t the official name for that then it must be so. That’s f’ing rad

I prefer Fusion Lobster Claw Cannon
(The official name, "Death-Lock Pincer, is awesome as well)
I remember reading on TFWiki that Megatron's cannon was missing the blade part because of when it broke during ROTF.

TFWiki wrote:Megatron is seen with a Death-lock pincer in Transformers: The Ride – 3D, though with his Dark of the Moon appearance. Although possibly unintentional, the Fusion cannon Megatron uses in the Dark of the Moon video game seems to represent his death lock pincher without the blade. Given that Optimus broke the blade, it may have been a reference to the previous movie.

Wait, can the DOTM Megatron arm swap with the ROTF cannon arm?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure the connections between the two arms are different. Just wait for 3P to make one, if HasTak doesn't make one themselves.

I think this actually looks super awesome. I think I will actually pass, though, unless it is in the Studio Series numbering system.
It's just too inaccessible an exclusive to justify the difficulty and price otherwise.

I’ve actually been looking into swapping the arms, but DOTM Megatron’s arm (at least the forearm) is pinned into place, so it’d be really tough to remove it.

I was confused by this when I first saw the pic earlier but yeah it's totally got to be the guy in Megatron costume who taunts all the guests at Universal Studios. I watch videos of him from time to time on youtube and he's fun. I want to see him actually selling this figure to the guests. I doubt I'd be able to get this one myself and that's ok but yeah it does make sense why this is a thing.

Either way, I love the Cybertron Sideways comparison.

Hey guys, notice the bot on the far right?
Is that indicative of SS KSI Boss hitting retail already?

Some UK based eBayers have Hightower, Dropkick (car) and KSI Boss in stock it would seem. I dunno if that's news to anyone but I was tempted to order one earlier though resisted.

OK, now I know what figure I will get the next time I go back to Universal. I got Evac when I was there the first time and I love the ride!
seriously, that ride was so much fun. Yes Megatron was in his DotM Body with his RotF murder claw blaster arm, and yes it was great. I rode it twice.
ah fond memories.
But yes, I want that Megatron. I will get him when I go back. And that Megatron that taunts people was the best, I only got to see him for a brief minute, but he is hysterical!!

Thanks a heads up from TFanPage101 we've learned Kevin Liu on YouTube has two fresh reviews, for you to view, before you're...through?
This was not supposed to turn into a Dr. Seuss bit but, well, here we are.
At first you will find Hightower quite dour you see he's sour because instead of a back he has a tower. Teeny little arms so creepy it's true, he combines with his bros into a Devastator stew.
And then here comes Drift flying in from aloft in a retool of Dropkick which most fans found soft. All dressed up in royal blue with swords slashing it's uniformity of color schemes that keeps this samurai from clashing...well, in regards to his wardrobe anyways.
Enough of the rhyming! On with the show! Enjoy the views and share your thoughts with the Seibertron crew in the forums and as always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

I love your Seuss skills!
Hightower is really cool, and so is Drift. Hopefully, we can get a really nice Bugatti Drift as well.
