The coloured version of the cover has also been posted with a short synopsis over at ComicNewsI.
Issue #3 of Maximum Dinobots is slated for a February 2009 release, with the first Issue being released on December 10th 2008. Simon Furman is penning the series, with internal art to be covered by Nick Roche.

no way that's the real streaker... i know he has blue eyes like sunstreaker/hunter did but it has to be a machination clone.

Shocky looming in the back there really reminds me of a cover I designed for a fan comic idea that never really got off the ground... mine didn't look nearly as good, though...

Can't be the real Sunstreaker, we see him alive on Cybertron in AHM. Most likely Grimlock bagged himself a headmaster clone SS. Also if you look at the slight articulation in Grimlocks brow he appears a bit puzzled by what he is looking at. At first I thought he may have reclaimed the real SS's head from the mechanation, but there does appear to be a trashed yellow car body in the foreground, so most likely a headmaster.

I met Nick Roche last week cool guy . He did a sketch for me of Optimus and Blurr and I bought a poster of his and my gf damaged both of them while putting them away carefully . I sae some of his maximun sketches they look great
