No, its a non transforming action figure

The description clearly reads "FuRai Model" just like the previous kits. As with the Optimus and Starscream, and upcoming IDW Optimus, this is a model kit.

There a re a few parts that could use some glue (like the shoulders and skirting), but he really is a lot of fun. My favorite part is that there's actually a Matrix molded into his chest that you'll never see again after building him. If I had one complaint it's that he should have come with more hands like a pointing hand and open hands. He can't actually hold anything in two hands, any shots you see of him holding a weapon in two hands is just a camera trick, the hand you see the back of is a closed fist and not grasping anything.



Looks like the IDW version is giving us more options. Still a great kit all the same, you can still get good looking poses without the extra hands.
