Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to fellow Seibertron users, Shiningstar7896, and blackeyedprime, we've learned that thanks to UK toy stockists InDemandToys, and Zavvi; that two more entries have been revealed for the Transformers R.E.D line! The characters are Starscream and Bumblebee, both in their Generation 1 incarnations.

As you can see, Starscream comes with the accessories to recreate his coronation scene from the 1986 Transformers movie!

Preorders are open on both figures, retailing for the UK price of £20.99. They are expected June 2021.

The RED series would be a good time make toys out of some designs from the Bumblebee movie that did not transform,like Soundwave or Shockwave.

Why weathering all of a sudden? Hasbro still hasn't learn that their designers/QC can't do weathering proper on their TF toys?

As saturated as SS & BBB are, gotta say, these looks leagues better than the first wave. I do want this BBB if I can't get my hands on the Netflix ER BBB.

That Starscream look great but even this Screamers fanboy have no need for it. HOWEVER, that Bee is a MUST. That's a Bee that will be relatively be MP scale, 100% toon accurate, no gribbles and bulls, completely affordable. No need for MP-45 when this RED Bee exist. ;)^

This would be a great line to get some of the IDW designs that don't translate well into transforming toys. There'd be no need to drop $50+ on a third party offering.

I’d probably get Starscream, but I know if I get Starscream I’d feel compelled to get the rest of them... guess it’ll be one of those “if I see him” deals.

Don’t need another Bumblebee, much less a non-transforming one. :roll:

I keep thinking that this RED toyline is pretty much modern day action masters. And as such, i think it would be neat if we see some action master characters like rad, jackpot, or slicer getting a figure in this line.

The 3D renders make Starscream and Bumblebee look OK. But we know by now, that the actual figures will be made using el-cheapo soft rubber-plastic. So the actual products won't look nearly this crisp or vivid.

Sighhhhhhhhhh the ONE thing I was waiting on RED to do and they didn't. Why, why couldn't Starscream come with a gun mode Megatron? I have a Cobra Commander that NEEDS his Megatron.

If they have it, nice, but good luck finding it. Shapeway have a weird search engine where the more words you add, the more search results you get. And 99% of those results are completely random crap.

If you have it, the gun-mode Megatron that comes with the Centurion Drone w/ weapons pack fits in CC’s hand, I’ve tried it before and although I’m not using it right now it looks amazing.

Good point, but I'm wondering if they tried to do any "scaling" at all...
Meaning, will Bumblebee end up shorter/smaller than the other figures who are all roughly the same height.

It's kind of unfortunate, the more I've watched review videos, the less and less I like Soundwave.
Starscream is alright, and I'm not a huge fan of the worn paint apps on Bee.
I'm really not against these figures, but I'm taking a firm stand that the only way I'm purchasing is if they're on a really good sale.

All the RED figures should be the same size. So that must mean Bee would be ironically too big to be MP scale.
Regardless, it's the best option for a fully posable cartoon accurate Bee.
Well, this is true for every figures of this line, really. But Bee don't have a transformable equivalent.

They didn't because that's not what this line is about. It's about giving you 6 inch non transforming figures of Transformers characters.

Hasbro posted some new photos of their upcoming RED Bumblebee and Starscream. These are images of the actual product rather than the renders we saw the other day so they give you a better idea of the deco. We see that Starscream's coronation getup is entirely removeable as well.

My Bee display dosen't care about scale. So I'll be getting that Bee for sure if I see it at my local Walmart. As for that Starscream, it's an easy pass. I have plenty of Screamers that look like that.

Just wait till Kingdom Core Megatron, he comes with a Megatron in gun mode and will be cheaper than this RED Starscream.

It doesn't have the stock and looks far too blocky. They did a gun megs for the SDCC Joe/TF crossover Starscream that looks fantastic, I know these are smaller than 1/12 scale but I figured a gun Megs in this size would've worked.
