Such photogenic nonsense. This Sunday, we've been combing through some of the many images surfacing online featuring the latest addition of the Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece line: MP-36 Destron / Decepticon leader Megatron! The second iteration of the character in the line brings a number of discussion points too, like the 'tidyness' of the back, the waist articulation, the size of the head, and its inevitable comparison to other similar toys.

I honestly don't think Megatron's head looks too big at all. Seems perfectly fine to me. I guess next to those pin headed knockoffs it looks big.

We all have four excellent choices for Masterpiece Megatron, why must we insult the ones we don't like? We all need to just be happy we have so many choices, and aren't forced to be stuck with whatever one company offers.

Didn't you insult the one you didn't like when you forcefully canceled your pre-order?

I've already owned, with actual money, two of the four - and personally Megatron is the one that will make the cut on my shelf. I already sold off the blocky one (can't keep em' straight - Mightron or Despotron). My Apollyon has a QC issue which means I'm stuck with it. Oh well, he's my second favorite anyway.

I get that you don't like Megatron, but you can't really say anyone has gone as far in their choice not to get a 3P figure over the real thing. However, you seem to push this idea that 3p stuff is "as good or better" than Takara stuff...which, I don't necessarily disagree with, but just prefer to have official and "usually" superior product.
