The paintjobs look gorgeous but they are, at the end of the day, still mostly mediocre molds. Though I do kinda want that Bonecrusher.

I really like the new head sculpt on Lockdown, makes the figure look way better. Still looking forwards to seeing the war hammer Bumblebee.

This in a weird way gives me high hopes that we'll get a 2018 Movie toyline after the leaks back in July(?), but these figures look good (need a 2007 Jazz amd Bonecrusher, Lockdown's tempting me, and Megs is alright). I hope the Movie the Best line still continues after this second wave.

Buggers. Showing me the only ones I was on the fence about. And now I begrudgingly want them all. Though Lockdown is just BARELY squeeking by because of that new hook. I might even just give it to my OS KO.

These dissapoint me for the most part. Not that I ever wanted that Jazz mold again but the Leader Megatron doesnt have that much new to offer. The hasbro/Takara leader already has all that battle damage deco this one has so the only new part is the red face paint and that feels quite minimal.
Lockdown does indeed have the most novelty to him, but I dont need him as a deluxe now that i have the OK KO.

He had both. The hook was to nab Prime, and the claw tore out Ratchet's spark. I'd say his new gun is based off the claw.

Well damn, Lockdown looks like he should have on his original toy. I would be tempted by this new Lockdown if it weren't for the mediocre mold, the fact I will soon have 4 different versions of the skeleton, and the fact that he doesn't appear to have his head cannon.

They did really good with Hound there. The extra stuff really helps him out. I actually gave the TLK one all my AoE Hound weapons and am keeping the AoE one in alt mode. Jetfire looks pretty good too. Revenge Prime is a nope.
I am really tempted by Bee. Every TLK version of him needed that hammer. Shame this is the only one.
Strongly tempted by Nemesis too. I have yet to get any Nemesis version of Prime, and that version is killer.

No, the high price must partially stem from his electronics, plus the extra accessories he comes with, like the knuckles, hand-held Battle Blades, and him being a hybrid of the standard RotF Leader (chest), Jetwing/Striker (forearms) and Ulitmate Edition (hands).

That's what I was thinking.... that "Revenge Prime" looks exactly the same, has the same items (minus the face ripping hooks) and costs MORE. I some of them - but I would have liked an alternative head on Jazz (for example).
I think if you want the Nicest deco it might be worth checking out some of the other lines 1st.
I likely have 10 of Jazz's Mould already - I'm really struggling to look for a reason to buy another one.
The one I use the most is the G1 colour version - that one is really spiffy - Final battle Jazz is nice too. I also like Smokescreen.
Perhaps a more creative way to have progressed would have been to make the Human Alliance one in a Battle damaged deco.
Heck just make some more Human Alliance in general - Landmine for a start and Attack Mode Topspin then Jolt, and a 1960's Bumblebee.
