Yeah, the FOC year was the year I had the impression the deluxes were saying "FOC U" with how tiny and cheap feeling they were.
It was also then that the choice was made to bring back up the quality but with the massive price hike that was inevitable with it.
Also, is the voyager Optimus doing the GOATSE in vehicle mode? Talk about lazy. I expect an upgrade kit to fix that but it shouldn't be.
Not a dealbreaker for me, but that's annoying.

Barricade was a must buy for me. After seeing how his arms and shoulders are, nope. Add in all that kibble. Legs, back. No thank you. I'll conserve my money this time. Prime, still on the fence

Pass on both figures. I do hope they do Shockwave, though. He needs a voyager figure. If there will be a Grimlock, He will be leader class, right?

Pretty eager to get both, though I still find Barricade's feet a little weird, especially with their posability. So far the line at least seems promising (imo), I'm interested to see how they'll tackle the rest of the game models.

All the pictures and reviews of Barricade make him look like a dumpster fire in robot mode. Not that I was planning to ever get one. But that, and Prime's flaws, does make me worry what they're going to with the Megatron voyager.

Those are different lines though, they are not SS slots.
As for Barricade, he looks alright in those photos. I'll need to see him in hand to decide if I actually like him

True! I just wondered if, for marketing reasons, HasTak doesn't want too many dinobots on shelves to confuse the kids.
I'm no expert of course, I don't know how HasTak does their business either...

Well, both SS86 and AOE Grimlock are well out of circulation, SG is an online exclusive, and G2 is a Walmart exclusive, so I wouldn't be worried about too many Grimlocks

I'm a little concerned about Grimlock overload, but I doubt that would have any affect on the other AOE Dinobots happening one way or the other.

Some fans thought that those initial images of Studio Series Gamer Edition Optimus Prime showing exposed arms/hands in the back were due to early copies that were missing pieces. Well, Emgo has gotten a MISB copy and we get to see that this is indeed the look we are going to get. He goes into great depth in this review, showing the transformation, matrix chamber and so on. Enjoy!

Oh, that head. No. It's so TINY in comparison to the rest of his body. That's the only thing that I really don't like about it. It looks like a decent figure, otherwise.

Those hollow parts and that unforgivable goatse in truck mode grinds my gear. But I'll still buy that Optimus because he still seems fun to handle and I KNOW some smartasses will come up with upgrade kits to fix the kinks.

Thing is, he was a pinhead in the game too. I love those games, but every time I'd play as Optimus I'd just laugh at his almost microscopic head.

My main complaint is the visible hands in alt mode. They could've easily found a way to cover those. I swear, it seems like most of the time when they're giving us what we've been wanting, they have to have some major flaw. Can't ever be 100% smh.
