Almost 48 minutes have gone by, and TFyuki hadn't Tweeted a thing... but fear not! He finally uploaded some new pics to tease us with, this time of Transformers Legends Black Convoy & Armada/Micron Legend Megatron. What makes this special though is he has provided his followers with direct comparisons with their Hasbro counterparts, Collectors Club Scourge & Combiner Wars Leader Class Armada Megatron. I've got both molds. The Laser Prime mold in the form of RID Scourge. (wish I had Black Battle Convoy from Car Robots. I just love those mirrored stickers with the upside down G2 insignias!)
The, whatever you call it, that came in the giftset with the G2 Jazz deco and a couple legends. It just feels like garbage in my hands. Yeah, the recent mold has some added floppy articulation with balljoints.
I feel like I'm only seeing people who don't have the newer mold yet who actually want it. I don't know who would want two versions of the newer Scourge mold aside from completionists who need everything. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
I mean, I'm not a huge fan of blocks but a tiny guy with wrist and ankle articulation just doesn't quite do it fo me I guess.

Agreed, give me CR Black Convoy/RID Scourge over that deluxe any day of the week.

Once you go teal you'll forever be real! Yup, nothing beats the original.

Always wanted to buy RID Scourge, definitely gonna get him at some point; it seems like everyone's always really tealin' it with that figure.

(Also, score for me, both a Smash Bros/Xenoblade reference, AND a pun!!)

I woke up to the email this morning. Preordered Black Convoy as he's only a few dollars more than RK and I've got a decent PoL already
