Silhouette images of both Dirge and Thrust are now listed on Gambo Store.com.
Toy Hobby Market also has the silhouette of Dirge on its page. It is unknown, but likely, if these two releases are store exclusives like Thundercracker and Skywarp.
Pre-orders for both begin November 13th and will begin shipping in March of 2009.
We will update when more information becomes available.
More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

I might be interested in Dirge since the wings are more G1 acurate, not so sure about Thurst having his rotors on his rear wings.

I am sure the guns won't fit, but who cares... it'll be great to finally complete the set.

I think this is good. The wings are entirely different and it uses the regular seeker missiles. Where as TC was more or less the same as the Botcon toy.
I think with this one it’s not so bad, and a considerable re-purchase for those whom own the Botcon set.

I don't mind the wing thruster things location. its a decent compromise. As for Thundercracker, how much can one change him to make him "differnt" I think they did well enough on that. Just thrilled to have the opportunity to get my seekers afterall.

Here's hoping Hasbro quits wussing out and goes for their own remolds of these two. If this pans out all I'll be missing is Thundercracker from my classics seeker set.
C'mon Hasbro!
I don't know if I'll purchase the Henkei versions of these two or not seeing the problems with TC. I get skeptical when it comes to buying foreign items I can't return.

As I mentioned in my earlier thread on these two, Hasbro have sorta/kinda hinted they might do the three Botcon seekers. So... yeah. You pays your money and you takes your chances.

That's the thing I don't like taking chances, I am a very cautious person and rarely risk financial ventures. Which is why I don't own the botcon seekers now. But I am a patient person so I can wait.

It's a gamble. On the one hand, the cost of these things is probably only likely to go up on the second hand market. On the other hand, next year Hasbro might say "F*** it" and put out TC, Dirge and Thrust at retail.
Assuming the molds haven't crumbled to powder by then.

Speaking on destroying the mold you have to figure they'll give Acid Storm his two cartoon wingmates. Maybe once they break this mold they can combine it with the broken bits of their other molds and make Classics Autobot Spike.

Go and read the Q&A thread, Craven.

Hasbro: Thank you for understanding what the big issue is with the exclusive sets - we need to ensure that we don't de-value those sets. I think that it is possible for Hasbro to release new versions of those characters as long as there are enough differences from the original Classics versions. However, we have been trying to get a wide variety of the Seekers out before going back to do 2nd versions. So we don't have any immediate plans for those 3 characters, but they are not totally "off limits". And to your Sunstorm question - Acid Storm was originally going to be Sunstorm, but we changed our mind. So now you know Sunstorm is on the short list of Seekers!

Cool, thanks - Seems to me, The Rainmakers have a better chance of seeing the light of day than SW & TC or The Coneheads.
...in the West, that is.

I'm guessing Hasbro saw people were willing to pay... I think my Henkei TC was something like $60-70? Anyhoo, I'm guessing they're seeing that people are willing to pay that and are thinking "Y'know, it's kinda dumb that we could throw these out at $10 and rake in the cash, but we're not because of some agreement last year." I would be.
