Legacy Deluxe Animated Bumblebee images found

Fellow Seibertronian Hokutron has pointed us to a couple of new ebay listings that feature none other than a Transformers Animated Deluxe Class Bumblebee figure from the upcoming fan-favorite Legacy line. The original Animated Deluxe Bumblebee was released in 2008. This new toy retains Bumblebee's friendly smirk, turbo boosters, reworked-stingers, and compact yellow car mode. It appears to be a nice representation of Animated Bumblebee.

The photos below are from ebay listings from merchants_of_moe and transmimi. It is highly advised that you use caution when buying from overseas sellers or sellers with low or negative feedback.

Check out the images below.

Legacy Animated Prowl was a hard pass, but this Bee might be another story...if I didn't already have 3 extras of his original toy for the Clio custom I swear I'll get around to someday.

Looking at her commercial appearance again, I'm probably the only fan who thinks she looks similar enough to Animated Bumblebee for this to make sense, so I can't count on HasTak retooling this mold into her...but this will surely make a good Wasp down the road, and maybe they'll go nuts and repaint it into every variant in the Allspark Almanac!

Stupid question, anybody know where to find Transformers style fonts for Adobe movie maker?

The head and altmode look alright, but the rest is still lacking in most of the curves and proportions the Animated design was known for. Put a G1 Bee head on it instead and people would instead think it's just another Classics-style G1 Bee.

And what were once the front feet on the original design are now the heels of this design, with new tinier feet replacing them.

That's just a small detail.

You gotta admit that this Animated Bee is MUCH more closer to the original as any of the Prime figures hoped to be. Even Animated Prowl.

I have been collecting the Legacy Junkions, in anticipation of their eventual combined mode, only to be pretty disappointed by the semi-official Junkasaurus build, once I had it in hand.

I searched around to see if anyone had any more interesting combinations, and I found nothing.
So I tinkered a bit, and came up with this, completely unofficial, but improved (In my opinion) Junkasaurus.

I used a Trashmaster, an Axlegrease, and a Scraphook, along with all of their components.

If anyone has any other cool Junkions combos, I'd love to see them! (I still have yet to find any really good 'Evo-Fusion' ideas for Trashmaster's parts, other than just swapping out the trucks front end)

The original TFA Bumblebee figure was perhaps my least favorite of the lot. The vehicle mode was fine, but the robot mode was a mess. Those horrible clown feet, the loose arms that keep falling off, the flimsy Stinger gimmick - they definitely seemed to have phoned in their design efforts with his figure.

The Legacy version looks much better, except it appears to be very small. It looks almost Core sized, and I thought that it WAS a Core figure at first, until I saw the translucent plastic windows. And the face detailing looks like it got scribbled on by someone with a Sharpie. I hope that's just a prototype and the final version will be cleaner...

Amazon says my Trashmaster should be arriving tomorrow, despite not actually shipping yet, so I probably won't have much time to mess with it. I've only seen one actual video online combine it the way it was teased, and they said the connections was very unstable. Im just looking for a stable bi-pedal configuration making it as tall as possible. I know the quadrupedal look inspired by TF RotF Devastator has a feral/savage appeal, but I'm trying to see if there is any chance this could be a contender to slot in with my other UW/CW/PotP combiners, since I'm still one Autobot team short of balance. Signs aren't looking good especially since Trashmaster appears to be the smallest voyager made in recent years.

I am disappointed that the stripes are not aligned and that the front end ends up on the heels instead. He's close, but again, just off.

Thanks to Seibertronian Kanrabat, we have some in hand pictures of the upcoming Pulsecon exclusive Powerlinx Armada Hot Shot and Jolt. They found these in Canada at Gamestop, which is where the figures are exclusive to north of the border.

Check out the images below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below.

-Kanrabat- wrote:Found at GameStop Canada, the Legacy Evolution Armada Universe Hot Shot and Jolt pack! I have no idea if it's a Pulse/GameStop exclusive or not.

First thing you'll notice is how damn expensive it is. 68$CAN (50$US) for non-Edge members plus taxes is a lot of money. Way, way more than Red Cog.

WHY?

This is why:

Image

Image

There is lots of stuff. The minicon Jolt is basically a CORE CLASS Transformers. Plus, there's two extra guns, plus two sets of 3 blast effects for 6 total.

The little Jolt is fantastic, despite his lack of paint.
He's complex enough and he's fairly articulated.

Image

Image

Hot Shot himself is not bad, but he's not great. Especially on th backpack that come undone too easily, as well has his knees. But otherwise, he's fine enough.

Image

He really shine with his extra guns and the :michaelbay: BLOOOOOOOOOOSH :michaelbay: effects.

Image

Image

Oh, and Jolt can do the hover mode.

Image

The transformation is interesting enough. Plus the vehicle looks great. Except on my copy, the coloring on the roof panels are different and doesn't match with each others for reasons.

Image

Fully equipped, the car is awesome.

Image

My Armada crew is looking good! Now only Armada Wheeljack is needed. Plus if they can make the other minicons as core class figures. Maybe as a 3 pack?

Image

Was is worth that much money? Ultimately, not really. I say the set may be 10$CAN too expensive. Regardless, I don't regret my purchase. I FOMO'd hard on this one and there's no way that I would gamble finding it on sale.

Thanks for the feature!

I knew having a thing before it's even officially announced was newsworthy.

I got my Titan Nemesis in, and she is pretty good. She has a good presence to her, and I love the shadow she casts. I do not like the bicep kibble, but that is really the only setback on her. I will say I wish she had a little more backweight, as i want to pose her in the hunchback look, but she is difficult to balance in a convincing look that way, plus she takes up more room in that way.

I also got Nova Prime and Shadowstriker. Nova Prime is very cool, I love it. Shadowstriker looks good, but still annoys me as she looks almost nothing like her Cyberverse self, and her transformation is a pain.

Bludgeon still rules. He is better than Tarn.

I also got Strongarm and Detritus in. Both are pretty neat, I will discuss them later.

It was announced at SDCC. We have known and had official images for it since July.

I meant, FULLY announced. With the price and all.
Because so far, no one know for how much the damn thing will cost in the USA.

I just want to know by how much I overpaid (given the Canadian trend for so many exclusives), or if the prices are relatively balanced between both countries.

My Detritus came with some weird crusty look to his gold gun. It's not mold but it might be a rushed paint coat.

I believe it was either $39.99 or $41.99.

So that mean with the EDGE Platinum membership, I end up paying 5 to 8$CAN extra compared to the American price.

Not too shabby considering that if I was stuck ordering from Pulse, they would have charged my the whopping 25$US in shipping fee at the bare minimum. :-?
