Agreed, this'll be my third version of this mould and most expensive too...

Yeah, I was hoping they'd put out this recolor/retool from the start. Not to mention the Targetmaster buddies take it over the top. Fantastic.

What I find to be a bit off (besides the :BOT: symbol, as the original had it be centered) is the fact that in the manga portion of the G1 continuity, Artfire was a sniper-type. Yet, they have him be a "Double Targetmaster."

Also, ironically (for me), the packaging makes me wish I had gotten Stepper. :P

That is another thing... Nightstick is his partner, at least in the manga as well. And in UNITED, it's Sparks. So either way, it looks like they had him go from sniper to sharpshooter. :-?

So they turned him from being a sniper-based Tragetmaster to something that they will not explain, which will annoy me to no ends. :P

I jumped on Stepper the minute Artfire was announced! I always thought it was a shame they haven't paired these two up in the G1-reissues too...

Very nice call on that move! :D

I was the complete opposite, though. Mostly because even though he did interest me, I had no interest in the UNITED line. And when I decided to just get him, he was sold out. But I cannot complain as I ended up buying Meister (Jazz) and Sky Lynx later on. 8)

Also... With G1 Stepper, there is the Transformers Collection series version. The only downside I see with that one is that both the box art and figure does not include a :BOT: on his chest. But despite that, I'd love to see an Encore edition version that includes them both together. 8)

Agreed on the G1 reissue. Been waiting a while, HasTak. I know you've got the mold. My G1 Stepper's not getting any younger! >:oP

Again... Takara had already reissued Stepper. TFC-15 is his number for that reissue, and the mold for his head was used on "Encore" Meister. :P

As Hasbro, they reissued him in the Commemorative series as Ricochet.

However... It is Artfire that needs a reissue. Hasbro said that if they brought back the Commemorative series, they'd consider adding him. But nothing has been done about that. And Takara Tomy is tight lip, and left him as a very rare piece.

Yeah, I think you misunderstood. I was implying my Stepper was LONELY. It's Artfire that I'm waiting on.

I am sorry that I did, but I was forced to take it at face value. :saint:

Besides, I can understand. Because in the manga continuity portion of Headmasters, I kind of see those two being friends. Especially with Artfire's patience being his strong point... And that would allow him to see Stepper as the person he really is, and not the person other Autobots see him as being. ;)
