Just the tail fins not being painted, from what I can see.

I'd be getting Preceptor for sure. As for Emperor Starscream, i'll wait for a sale before "double dipping" on him.

Perceptor looks really good imo.
The earlier render of his face looked off and a bit creepy.
I do wish the yellow on the front of his head was more pronounced, but I may just touch that up myself.

Coronation SS is definitely a pass for me. I wish all of the seekers could've had those hands, but other than that, it's not up to par with the rest of that subline...
The throne is definitely mehhh for me. Even if it were somehow designed differently to where I liked it more, it would still require a diorama-type of a raised platform or riser to make it worth displaying.

Not even a phenomenal sale price is going to sway me this time...
Looks like this guy and Blurr are the only SS86 figures that won't make it into my collection.

Also, thinking about this figure makes me really lean towards the prediction that an SS86 Ironhide is going to be the ER version; 2-3 55mm pegs tooled onto this chest/torso, a blaster, and 2-3 blast effects.
Those small additions worth another $10-$12?? Sure... For Hastak.

Yeah if I get the throne it'll be for Galvatron most likely. I probably won't buy this set as it is, but the throne by itself would be cool. So if anyone wants just screamer and his extras but not the throne, let me know.

I meant in terms of actual sculpting. On the deco front, it's that and according to the wiki they added some dark gray rectangles on his back. Truly inspiring.

I really want the cape and crown but I have no need for the throne, as he's going to be standing on Devastator's shoulder. Debating whether I should cancel my preorder and wait for some kind of a sale.

That Perceptor looks so boring.
And that Starscream ... adding finger articulation, but not fixing any actual issues with the figure. Just throw a bunch of extra junk in the box.

Clearly the throne wasn't designed for Starscream, his but doesn't even touch the seat, he's being suspended by his wings! Doesn't really matter to me, I'm going to be sitting Megatron in it, hopefully he's a better fit.

I wonder if Perceptor's dials are removable? I want to see if his "tank" mode can be flattened out without them (looks like the protrusions under the dials might make that impossible still).

Okay, did anyone else notice that we all get a wonderful shot of Starscreams crotch anytime he sits in that throne? That's unnerving. Couldn't they have put n extra flap in there? It's....weird.

Honestly, I kind of didn't care very much for the earthrise seeker mold. Prefer the siege seekers. It's not that the earthrise mold is bad, given it's the classic mold upscaled. It fixed some of the problems with the classic mold, but made a few new ones. The issue for me is it's proportions. His chest is too big/wide/blocky which makes his head look too small, and like his legs are set too far back in his body.

However, that actually works in favor for his coronation look into. The infamous bad comedy scene in the movie, Starscream was animated very different, he was bigger, bulkier, particulary in the chest. His hands seemed smaller, or rather his forearms we're bigger. I had always chalked that uo to him being rebuilt for his new role as leader. So ya, this coronation set actually works for me, makes the flaws of the earthrise seeker mold worth it. Already sold my er stars cream in anticipation
