this is the one i must have. put aside money during Thanksgiving thinking it came out in November (TF Source lied), but that went to Fort Max instead. Luckily holiday season paychecks are usually good, so here is hoping for a Ginrai for Christmas, or New Years given how long TF Source takes to get their import toys

Dr Va'al wrote:Seibertronian Cyberpath has shared the latest image from the official Twitter account for Takara Tomy's Transformers, featuring the Powermaster Optimus Prime release from Titans Return in their Legends line as LG-35 Super Ginrai! We also get a better look at the changes from the Hasbro release, including the odd feet choices, new forearms, chest piece, and faceplate (but Sabrblade doesn't believe so, so who are we to say otherwise). Check it out below.

Every time I start to think, "Eh, the Hasbro version isn't so bad." I see another picture of this guy. He's beautiful.

Two different characters. Better get both to stay in the club.

It looks like he's wearing big blue platform wedges. Maybe he raided Elita's closet?

If you take a look at his feet in the anime Masterforce, it's , well ....normal.

i think if they had made the wheels on the sides by his feet swivel so their vertical it might make it look better with the different feet

With Masterpiece Inferno only just recently released and Legends Super Ginrai just weeks from release, some perhaps unsurprising but still exciting rumours have surfaced - Hong Kong's toys information site currently has some new listings. An MP-37 Artfire - a retool of MP Inferno - set for release in May 2017 for the price of 15,000 yen; and an LG-42 God Bomber, a character that in the 1988 Transformers Masterforce toyline combined with Ginrai to create the iconic God Ginrai. God Bomber's description currently lists him with the G1 Boxart as it's image however, and no more information is supplied, so take both of these with a grain of salt but feel free to look at the link below and discuss them in the forums!

If true, I'm expecting them to use MP Offshoot (aka Firebolt) for Nightstick:

I'd rather Takara try making their own MP Targetmaster mold. One that can actually "Target On!" with its Bulk partner.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:If true, I'm expecting them to use MP Offshoot (aka Firebolt) for Nightstick:

Not familiar at all with Godbomber, but MP Artfire seemed a given. Wouldn't be surprised to see an MP Road Hauler from Grapple. All they'd needed to do would be to change plastic colors and paint.

I wonder if Artfire's gun would "plug" in the wrist socket the way it was portrayed in the Headmasters?

Still disappointed we never got a Hauler repaint from RTS Grapple.

We all did, but it's nice to see some form of confirmation. Plus, the Godbomber rumor makes the Apex Bomber one in the TR box set all the more likely

That would have been cool, but probably a bit too obscure (at the time) for Hasbro to have released it. It's only in the last year or two that they've been releasing figures that are obscure to most Western fans- Shuffler, Lione, the CW Liokaiser team, etc.

And again, working from the Snakas rumour about a new Legends figure, we have confirmation with images (via TFSource, who lists it at $69.99 USD) of the Takara Tomy Transformers LG42 Godbomber - the 1988 Transformers Masterforce drone that combined with Ginrai (in our case Powermaster Optimus Prime) to create the iconic God Ginrai - check them all out below, and join the discussion in the Energon Pub, as we wait for the May 2017 release date!
