The toy uses the same mold as the original deluxe concept Camaro Bumblebee toy, but with a few changes, most notably a new head sculpt, new weapon, and a more detailed paint scheme.

It would be nice if they could provide one picture - just ONE - that displays a full, uncropped view of the robot mode...
(well, at least it's not mistransformed and blurry...)

Rated X wrote:Looks great ! I like the way they changed ther transformation on the chest. Obviously they want to make as much money as they can on the mold but, Ill still add him to my collection of Bumblebee repaints
What change, the chest still transforms exactly the same. All they did was alter the fog light section to give it more of a racing/body kit appearance. The transformation remains the same.
And as is I really don't need another one of these.
I'm sure we'll see many repaints of this. I might pick up one of the repaints if its nice enough. The changed fog lights and weapon really aren't enough to warrant an additional purchase.

Thankfully, I do not think the movie line is going to fool me twice.

As a wise man once said, "There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, it's probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on ... shame on you. It fool me. We can't get fooled again."

On a side note - hopefully this time ALL movie figures will coming in the "Premium" format.

I'm also hoping to skip a bunch of the re-used movie characters.
Sadly (for my wallet) the new Prime looks really awesome.

Anyhow, I'll buy this. Like the new head, the body kit (although somewhat unbalanced) is nice, and the weapon may prove interesting...

The 2 photos of the bonnet in alt mode are slightly different at the front of the hood, there's a 'step' down from the height of the centre piece to a slightly lower level before the drop to the overall hood height which isn't on the original and, below the score which represents the end of the hoood there's a further short line before the edge of the grille on the original which isn't visible on the new one. The bottom section of the black grille also goes deeper than the original, it looks like it goes to the bottom of the hood from the wings in the centre pic, mine's has the yellow re-appearing at the bottom. Check it out!
I agree with Overcracker, there's no obvious difference to the transform in these photos to the bot on a shelf in my room, it's just been mistransformed to show unecessary amounts of the inner plasti of the bonnet. I no likee the head sculpt, even though it's closer to the 1st movie images the eyes are scary, I wish they'd do the original body mold with the Stealth BB head which, frankly, looked the dogs gonads. Other than that I'll spend the tenner on something else thanks Hasbro (for both Stealthy BB and this one, so that's £20 your down for the mo' Hasbro!) I might even save it towards the Voyager Animated BB, who knows?
edit: I forgot to name and shame that company (PS thanks for all the toys)

Are you forgetting it's a kids toy?
Kids enjoy shooting littlem issles. Boring lights wouldn't make much sense from a sales point of view.

Do they? Even as a kid, I hated launching missiles. Damn things just got lost.

You were apparently one of the few (unlike me) who realized that....
THere are at least 30 missles under my entertainment center from when I was like 6....

Rated X wrote:Look at the way the chest (front of auto) points foward and splits outward on both ends the way Barricade transforms. On the old Bumblebee figure the chest simply folds down pointing towards the ground. At a quick glance you may have missed it.Overcracker wrote:Rated X wrote:Looks great ! Actually no, bumblebee's chest has always been able to do that. See following pics:

The only difference is the body kit section, and the fact that the chest panels are pushed farther up. Also the angle of the pic kind of deceives a little.
