Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Thundertron, has let us know of some new images of forthcoming Earthrise figures, have appeared on Walmart listings for the figures.

First up we have a new image of Deluxe Class Sunstreaker, showing his alt mode.

Next we have some new images of Voyager Class Megatron, offering a stark contrast to his recently leaked G2 deco in the Generations Selects line. The last of these images gives us a good look at Megatron's head.

A better question would be how many people who weren't getting Earthrise Megs at all are now getting the Selects version

Apparently I’m in the minority, but I am eager to get Earthrise Megatron, and the G2 version.
Siege Megatron was great, and I have 3 different versions of him. But I hate the H tank treads, and the fact that he leans backwards when standing straight (a design flaw of the feet, that hopefully won’t carry over).

Wow you pick the factory defect with a chip in his eyebrow for your marketed headshot? Somebody in the marketing team needs to be fired.

I think that's paint. Really hard to get those details right in such a small piece without the use of magnifying glasses.

Would be quite interesting to see a Seeker with a beard, given how standardized they generally are normally.

That's why POTP Rodimus Unicronus, and by extension SG Rodimus, are a couple of my favorite looks.

Probably not canonical since ol' Scorpy and Megs are usually backstabbing each other but it makes for a cool pic.

This single picture has convinced me to get the Earthrise Seekers if only for vehicle mode purposes, those jets look so good.

That silly sword could redeem itself if it were a an axe. Straxus/Darkmount's axe that is...

I'm done with Magatrons (the SIEGE version is fine) but this mold could make tons of other Decepticon Tyrants if HasTak would quit BSing! Straxus, Tarn, The Fallen and even a decent Bludgeon if done right.

There's just something about that 'sword' accessory for Earthrise Megatron that drags down the entire figure. It's so.... lazy. They didn't even try to do anything with it.

The face of ER Megatron is very off... I'm not saying the Siege version is perfect either.
But here are the differences I've spotted:
The helmet comes down to too much of a point above the forehead.
The face itself in some ways looks too big for the helmet/head... It just doesn't look proportional.
Basically it makes the helmet/head look too small for his face.
Also, the black line above his eyes is much too thick, even if those paint apps in the photo were more accurately applied.
Omitting the two black triangles on his forehead that help emphasize the "brow" area was a mistake. That's an important part of his face imo.
Lastly, after looking at my Anime paint apps Megatron, the ER version's face is lower in the helmet... Which is maybe what's making his face look to big and the helmet too small.

The lame sword and other flaws don't even weigh-in simply because once I saw the face/head he as an instant and absolute 'pass' for me.

Too many Megatrons. I really enjoy the Siege Megatron, looks good and is a lot of fun. I really like the combat exclusive Megs too, so all these other ones coming out, I have no interest in getting.

Now if they were to come out with Straxus I'd be all over that.
