Silly knee joints that barely made the thing posable, ankle joints that try to buckle under the weight, arms that are too short and can barely bend, and the fact that the thing is nothing more than a shellformer.
Nothing good about it whatsoever. I would rather have a broken head on my Brainstorm than this mold in its "perfected" form.

I disagree, I think its a fantastic mold and great improvement since it actually uses the shark head as the chest without using fake kibble like the original. The legs are super stable if you tab in the knees properly and I am impressed with how well he balances. This toy has flaws, sure (the Hasbro deco doesn’t help), but I dont get the complaint about its shell. It's a great improvement in terms of the shell over its original toy. What used to look like an amazon canopy in the back is now reduced to two small wings that can be rearranged any way that suits you.

Was it in the storyline that covers the giveaways in the comics? Sorry, when I said that I refer to the comics given with any of the Generations figures. I haven't read any outside of that. I see Ironhide is sporting his WFC/FOC look. Is that his most current look? Since we suspect he will be a redeco of Offroad in the CW subline I would have thought they updated it? I see Starscream has his G1 colors rather than the newer red deco, so I assume this issue is at least a year old?

Which one is that, is that the homage to energon hound?

That would be that red and blue Gen. Roadbuster, homaging Energon Ironhide (who was called Roadbuster in Japan). Some see him more as the G1 Targetmaster Crosshairs.
william-james88 wrote:Like one thing I am curious of is generations corsscut. Is it a modernising of the exclusive G1 crosscut that was released way after the facts or an homage to the Honda diaclone model that was not chosen for the Transformers line back in the day? Or both at the same time?

I'd say both at the same time, as he along with Road Rage are based on Diaclone-original decos. And there are still more to be potentially had, as there are red and black versions of the Honda City Turbo mold as well.

People just prefer to think of the Cloud Roadbuster toy as a stand in for a CHUG Crosshairs since it has close-enough colors to G1 Crosshairs.
