With the imminent release of Transformers Generations 09 volume 1, member vansch brings us a scan of the exclusive figure that will be released with volume 2, a "Crystal" Starscream.

1/2 crystal Henkei Starscream from TF Generation 09 Vol.2


The figure can be obtained with purchasing the book, then mailing in the attached form, with additional money. It is unlikely to see any release outside of Japan, however site sponsor BigBadToyStore.com is making available TF: Generations 2009 vol 1 and the Clear Mirage available so there is hope that they can do the same here.

This is very very cool! The only small issue I have is that, in my own opinion, I think that the few white pieces should also have been done in the clear plastic. But that's just me. Otherwise, this is an awsome looking piece. I'd love to get my hands on this.

as much as i adore this figure in its clear glory....................................... i fear that the mold degeneration of this mold, will ruin this figure for everyone

e.g henkei tc

acidstorm was ok, lil loose arm cannons but not as bad as tc

and as its a henkei fig, i fear the wounds will be fatal

and ghost of starscream will be floppy zombie starscream

Why is it called "1/2 crystal"? It looks like it is all translucent plastic.

If you look closer you can see the gray parts (ie. upper legs, etc.) are solid...

BBTS has Mirage for $90 so I'm assuming that the crystal Starscream will go for about the same.

That's because it hasn't been mentioned yet.

BBTS Has a preorder for vol 2 available in may. Assuming the figure will be available along the same timeline as the Clear Mirage, then Starscream may be available Oct-Nov

Bodhar has nothing yet, but will when it is closer to release. All we know is it is an exclusive you can send away for when you buy the second book.
