That can't be. This art is American in origin and would have predated the Japanese head's conception.jtanimator wrote:Emerje wrote:Who's head is that on Skullcruncher, it doesn't really resemble any of his previous head designs?

That's the Takara Tomy version, I believe.

I'll be brief and tell you that it concerns my recently acquired Hardhead... his Titan Master Furos to be exact:
Don't know when it happened, but I do suspect how it happened: Ridges on the side of the head + tight head clamps. Sigh... At least I can take solace in the fact I'm not the only one:
Transformers Titans Return Furos Gallery
Excess paint I can deal with. Mismolding or broken parts, not so much.
What to do...

Cut off the other side to make it match.
Titans Return Overlord early design.
This design was executed early on, and went through a lot of changes for various reasons. But I loved working on it with the team!

It’s pretty safe to assume Overlords story ended in Dying of the Light. He let go off Megatron. Overlord was never a central story character, more like a side character and since the final stories will be completing the quest to Cybertopia it’s safe to assume won’t be coming back.
I wouldn’t put any money on Giga and mega popping up. The only Masters ever show up in IDW was Zarak 12 years ago for one page and die.

I think you're wrong about that. With so many pieces taken off the board Overlord is one of the few danglers that is left.
Also, we had Hunter O'Nion, Abraham Dante, a whole bunch of unnamed Machination guys, Thinkbox, some unknown beastheadmasters from 10 million years ago, Infinitus and Sovereign as Headmasters.

Actually only time I seen Overlord look even remotely cool
