New Transformers Products Revealed Transforming Plush Clip Bots

I really like the look of these figures, but would anyone happen to know a price for these guys? I hope they make guys like this for movie characters. These sorta remind me of those transformable Optimus and Bumblebee plushes that were released years back.

No... sadly it's not. That Bumblebee is based on the evergreen design for the character, and that design will be used in the Cyberverse TV show. Check images and you'll see they're identical. Also the lights on a VW Bug are circular, and the ones on his shoulders are rectangular.

It seems to me that the alt modes, as well as the robot modes are more based on G1 designs rather than the evergreen designs which I'm all for. Look in the box and you'll see soundwave turns into a little Casset player, and out side it are G1 inspired vehicles for Bee and starscream. The evergreen stuff has bees car mode with stripes and a spoiler, and soundwave turns into a weird SUV.

We knew these were coming since Toy Fair, and you can see our whole gallery of these plush toys here. However, we had no word on price or if they were even going to show up in the US. Well now we do. Podcast superstar XRotrostormX has found these for $5.99 each at Meijer. As written in the title, these plushies to transform, and into their G1 alt modes. Soundwave even becomes a tape deck. You can see the image of the sighting below along with examples of these plushies in both robot mode and alt mode. The characters included in the case appear to be Bumblebee, Optimus, Sundwave, Starscream and Rodimus.

I find it interesting, that if you look at the last box there is clearly art showing Bee's altmode as a Camaro of sorts instead of the small VW bug like car. I'm glad they went with the bug instead as a camaro would've felt out of place in this set. It also looks like Hot Rods car won't be his G1 alt mode, rather a muscle car, which I find odd, but it's no big deal. Hopefully we get a Jazz and Megatron down the line. A tiny grimlock would be awesome too!
