New Voyager Class Megatron and Ratchet Repaints?

i like repaint rachet ,but ill pass on voyoger meagatron and see if leader class will get the repaint

yeah i dont like the packeges eather

i don't really see the difference (or the point) in Ratchet.

am i the only one who doesnt see the difference with ratchet? sure he's more yellow than green now but thats probably due to the photography since its happened to the other toy too...but yeah, maybe its different in person but he sure as hell dont look metallic..lol

wait a minute, isn't Ratchets windows meant to be around at his back? I know on mine they are at the back.

I have seen Hasbro mis-transform their own toys before. but did they or have I transformed Ratchet wrong?

I don't want either of those, so this doesn't really effect me.

I like the megs. if I hadn't JUST BOUGHT the regular release I'd have gotten him instead. Oh well.

I'm happy with the regular Ratchet, and I plan to get the G1 repaint so NO to this version.

They must really need that voyager megs to sell.

As for ratchet, they can make him more movie accurate, and refuse to do a leader class Blackout/starscream/?

I wouldnt mind nabbing the metallic Ratchet, but still wont go anywhere near Megatron.

megs still has the stupid ice on him, and ratchet isnt transformed right.

These will probably be out in time for the DVD release. It's actually a smart way to rerelease the movie toys without having to do more complete repaints like Rescue Ratchet and Thundercracker. I would be suprized if the rest of the cast gets the same treatment.

And they're packaged in the same style of MP Starscream. Which could good or bad. Good if it tricks WalMart or whatever store into carrying MP SS b/c they think it's a part of the movie. Or bad b/c little Jimmys mom picks it up thinking it's the movie 1 he wanted and will probably end up breaking it, returning it, or both b/c it's too complicated and advanced for their idiot kid....

Neither Megatron or Ratchet really interest me, though.

Ohhh I like that Megatron. I was able to get the regular Voyager Megatron yesterday and I like it aso mucyh better then the Leader version. I can't wait to get the mettalic version.

A Leader Megatron Reapint, I'd say yes, but voyager just doesn't have enough going for it to make me want it twice especialy at import rates!

That looks so much better, if only they got rid of the ice bits...

Megs looks good with the metallic finish, but the ice still ruins it for me. Personally, I think the blue ice on the current voyager looks better. Now, if they would only repaint the Leader Megs with a metallic finish, that would make me very happy!

Megs looks freaking sweet but ratchet looks pretty much the same if i dont get leader megs ill definatley have to snap up this repaint

These have to be the most boring repaints since Hitler painted Swastikas on his zombie troops during The Zombie Uprising of '99.

Btw, Ratchet is the one we saw on Ebay a few months ago from an Australian seller. Deco was done in metallic yellowish green.

Don't see a lot of difference in Ratchet.

Big difference in ratchet. He's isnt lime green anymore, it's more of a yellowish/duller green, and I think they somewhat fixed his doors being brighter then the rest of his body, from antoher image taken awhile ago.

Oh why wasn't Megatron painted like that in the first place. So much better. Rachet, meh, no big difference.

the only reason i will not be buying the voyager repaint is becuase the hands are ugly colors. Unless i lake them off and paint them black......

If you're going to do repaints, do a decent job with Voyager Megatron and get rid of that infernal fake ice garbage on him. It sucks.

Thank Primus it's not over here. That's more disastrous thna Leader Class Megs. Ratchet...meh, I see no difference really. I'll wait for re-paints.

What's with everyone? It's my 2nd post in this thread, and i've had it up to hear with people amazed at Metallic Finishes! It's people like you who feed Hasbro boatloads of money for shipping out the exact same model with a different paint finish!

I get how people enjoy repaints, simply because many T-former collectors aren't good painters at all. Like if there was an '08 Cliffjumper, people would definetly go out to get it. I also understand Final Battle Jazz, since it gives collectors and fans a different weapon for Jazz to wield, and it also gives a battle-damaged look. I understand Evac repaint of Blackout because it's a character that some fans enjoy.

But Metallic Finishes? Megatron, Ratchet, as well as the '74 Bumblebee i've seen before are a waste of money. C'mon, if you happen to already have Megatron, Ratchet, and '74 Bumblebee, and continue to buy their metallic finishes, you are either a hardened collector, a movie supporter, a Megs/Ratcher/Bumblebee fan, or just plain stupid. What's so special about the Metallic finishes? Can anyone understand that there's nothing special with it at all? All it is, is some varnished figure, in which the varnish isn't even worth someone buying the figure all over again.

Honestly, if you're buying something other than the original figure, atleast buy a repaint of a different colour, or something like a retool. But for pete's sake don't even touch the Metallic Repaints!

I really felling Megatron! Not Ratchet!....Dude but everyone has different taste. i been waiting to Deluxe Figures for like ever. Haven got one at any of my local stores i think thats is some real mess up Shhh...

I think people were really hoping for a repaint on the leader class megs...

Megatron might have been half way worth it if they had gotten rid of that stupid ice! Has anyone out there pulled it off (if it will come off)?

i just hope that that limited edition voyagers would hit the regular toys stores here in the philippines and not on just local toy stores(black market) w/c charges tf figures like 40-50% or somtimes 3 times the price like the case of bb08.

where was i in '99? totally missed that one. whoop, right over the top of the head. guess i should've watched cnn a little more often.

I just don't get why they would have a metallic repaint of Voyager Megs instead of Leader Megs. I'd buy a metallic Leader in a heartbeat, but I can't bring myself to buy the current one.
