Not sure on Predaking yet, but it is the same "toyline numbering" as Rodimus, so until told otherwise, I would guess it does transform too

Predaking looks awesome, but how does it look next to other combiners?

Not gonna complain except that it's always him. I'm just thrilled to see these crossovers...they are just fun. That Zoids one...no idea where that came from but I love it. Has a Diaclone reboot feel to it (yes, I know it's technically a TF/Diaclone/Zoids crossover, but you could argue that Diaclone is more Zoids than Zoids are).

Adding the Shield-D-Prime to the list of really cool-looking figures I know I'll never own... Still have my original Shield (T)iger in the attic!

Frankly the thing I'm most excited for is the new MPG Load Hauler. I have a very soft spot for these obscure characters, even though normally I collect only Decepticons, I'll make (yet another) exception for him. Cordon and Burn Out are feeling lonely lately...

I am very excited for Shield-D-Prime, that one has a spot in my collection thanks to Diaclone, and will be my first Zoids experience

Price is for sure gonna hurt given the set is PotP Predaking sized, but dang does it look nice

Freakin' A and it would be epic to see the size up of both figures! I'll have the crash cart on stand by for my wallet when the prices hit for both Basara Prime and Predaking!

So how are we feeling about Macross 7 Basara Prime? I'm really digging him, I think I'm going to call him Basara Rodimus Prime since he's more Rodimus than Optimus which appears to be entirely intentional, probably why he isn't called Basara Optimus Prime this time.





I love it, not every crossover needs to be Optimus Prime.

Simply awesome looking, I am excited

I got the Monster Hunter Optimus Prime.

He comes in a HUGE box.
I thought at first it was a waste, but the figure itself is sizeable. He's packed in dragon mode.





God fukking dammit, auto-focus...


Comparing to his moldmates, this dragon have about the same wingspan as the others, but his body is more massive.





The Matrix store inside the "belly" of the beast.



The bot mode looks like a demonic knight. I will skip the "Magnus" version, but I'd be a sucker for a possible Nemesis version.







The shield and the sword can combine into a massive mace. I forgot to add the side-skirts to the weapon.



Optimus is a wee bit taller than Airrazor and Filtch.



Overall, The retooling and the added mass has promoted him to a solid voyager-ish class. For the overall price of a leader, he's expensive, but very much worth it. He feels solid in hand and he's fun to fiddle with.

I'm putting away the bucks for Macross 7 Basara Prime and I for one am stoked for this one! I for one agree too that why must any cross-overs be OP? C'mon let's pass the torch to others and let's start with a (forgive me ) that is not Megatron.

Yes point but I love the sound of that name and I dig the "Fire Convoy" within the name which was OP Cars 2001 reference.
