Robots in Disguise Warriors Blastwave, Stormshot and Alpine Strike Drift found in US Retail

You read that title right, the latest Robots in Disguise Warrior figures have been found at retail. A toysrus in Glendale, Arizona, to be precise. It was even found during their Buy One Get One 40% off sale (which is happening right now, if you were unaware). This is wave 10 in the warriors class and it is currently unavailable for preorders online. What is most interesting is that the phots provided by TFW2005 user Rabble show the rest of the wave. So along with Stormshot, Blastwave and a white redeco of Drift, this wave also includes a rerelease of Strongarm and a rerelease of the previously exclusive Starscream. It is unclear if this Starscream is different from the Clash of the Transformers Toysrus figure. There can be other rereleased figures part of this wave but that is also unconfirmed. They all sport a new Combiner Force logo on the box, highlighting the 2017 subline.

I dont know how noteworthy this is, but if you take the UPC codes and look em up on Amazon, you find that Stormshot is labelled as Skyfire :-?
So would this be the RID take on Jetfire?

Could have been an early production name for the figure.

Of note is that "Skyfire" has been in the firm hands of Mattel since 2003's Energon line, and was meant to be used for the Omnicon Skyblast. Apparently Hasbro is still unable to obtain that trademark :-B

Keep a close eye on the Max Steel line, especially with the movie being released.

I can't wait for the inevitable Takara redeco of the Combiner Force into the Multi-Force. :michaelbay: :TAKARATOMY: :michaelbay:

Blastwave has Bludgeon's EVERYTHING instead of what's seen in the artwork. They should have shared engineering rather than be a straight repaint.

I'm sad that they didn't use the takara head reaculpt, but that drift could still make an okay affordable stand in for ode drift. Is the head easily replaceable by any chance?

Is Blastwave/bludgeon mold a retool of Megatronus?

People keep saying as such, but I'm not really seeing it... maybe it's a similar situation to Dead End and Chromedome or Scourge and Highbrow?

OK, why does Blastwave have a skull for a face. Are they really that lazy?

I was just playing with my RID overload and I had a brainwave I wondered if Bakugan would fit in his claw and yep they do - they are a perfect fit - I recall people accusing Hasbro of copying them - I had no idea until just now that they literally made them the exact same size too.

Does anybody else have problems with Warrior Bisk not holding together in vehicle mode? I recently got him and his right claw doesn't peg in at all.
