Roundup of New Sightings and Sales for Transformers in Canada

Posted by william-james88 Oct 20, 2017 at 1:33am CDT 23,620 views
A new sale starts today at Toysrus.ca (and in stores) for Titans Return Leaders at $39.87 and Robots in Disguise One Steps at $5.87. These are the lowest prices for the respective products so far this year. The sale ends in one week from today.

As far as sightings go, Leader Dragonstorm has been found at both Toysrus and Walmart, along with the Titans Return Slugslinger wave. The third wave of deluxes from Transformers the Last Knight have been found at Toysrus and can currently be purchased online, as we show below.

TR Seaspray made it's way to Walmart.

TrU have TR Blitzwing and Octone, but they are rare. Happy hunting!

The latest wave of TlK deluxes are at TrU as well. Crosshair, Strafe, and some other reprint.

Robots in Disguise Legion Cyclonus and Heatseeker had yet to be found in North America, until now. While they have not hit the US yet (with no pre-orders listed either), they have been found at Toysrus in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Hopefully that is a sign that they will be found in the US soon, though with the Bludgeon wave still MIA months after sightings from around the globe, you can never be sure. Good luck on the hunt if these interest you and stay tuned for a pictorial review that shall be posted shortly.

Platinum Edition RID Grimlock and Bumblebee, bought from one of my local Winners' for 40 bucks. Also, there's like 10 or more Winners' in my city, and there's reports of them hitting almost every one of them so they're plentiful!

Good news for those still looking for a decently sized Robots in Disguise Grimlock. The Transformers Platinum Edition set which featured a slight redeco of the Takara voyager Robots in Disguise Grimlock and deluxe Bumblebee has been found at Winners, one of the main market six stores in Canada. It has been found throughout the country, but the particular sighting below comes from fellow Seibertronian Shajaki, in Edmonton, Alberta. The set is only $40 CAD ($31.33 USD) which is a far cry from the $80 Walmart had been charging. Good luck to everyone on their hunt!

The two holiday catalogs from Toysrus and Walmart are out now in Canada and both feature our favourite brand prominently. Walmart mainly shows Transformers Toys from the Last Knight with a series of rollback we previously listed in detail here. The Toysrus catalogue shows some love to Titans Return as well with the prices on deluxes and voyagers reduced by $3 and $5 respectively. As for the Last Knight toys, it seems Toysrus is on par with the price drops from Walmart, making the prices similar to what they would have been before the price jump for the movie line. You can click each picture below to be brought to the respective holiday guides.
The Walmart catalog also confirms that the Titan hero figures from Transformers The Last Knight were Walmart exclusives all along. The Walmart catalog can be used for price matching at Toysrus and vice versa (though Walmart appears to be pickier with the toy needing to be the same as the image in the flyer). All the best on your holiday shopping.

Good. Glad to see a lot TF stuff particularly TLK but would be nicer if it was new Bee rather than Wave 1 Bee shown there. Anyways christmassy christmas. I've deliberately held off on the TLK Blu Ray so it gives someone else (one individual in particular) something easy to obtain to get me as a present cos apparently I'm a really 'tricky bastard to buy a gift for'.

Not "around". They WERE. And those TrU exclusive deluxes, Megatron and Skullitron? 40$CAN. Each. (Glad I got both at less than 19$CAN each due to a price fokkop and Québec's accurate pricing law).

yes it was, but there was probably lots of news that day and when you logged on it was probably gone by then. Plus it was in the TLK toy thread.
