Rundown of Canadian Sightings with Latest Studio Series and Siege Deluxes and Voyagers and More

It took a looooooooong time for Canada to catch up to the US for the Studio Series and Siege line but that has changed the past month. Here is a rundown of sightings from the past month:

Studio Series Deluxe wave with Clunker Bee, Sideswipe and Barricade at Walmart
Studio Series Deluxe wave with Scrap Metal and Shatter at Toysrus
Studio Series Voyager wave with Bumblebee Optimus and Rampage at Walmart
Siege Deluxe wave 2 at EB Games
Siege Voyager wave 2 at EB Games

All deluxes are $30 while voyagers are $40.

Walmarts have also been getting the Generations Cyber Battalion Jetfire, Sideswipe, Prowl and Shockwave toys. These are Walmart exclusive in Canada and $20 a piece.

Walmarts have also updated their toy aisle to include an Easter/Spring themed Hasbro display which feature Transformers among their other brands.

Once again, Walmart at Montreal get everything while the one at Laval is a barren wasteland. :(

The only new thing in Montreal is what is in the picture. You really want those Cyber Battalion figures?

Maybe.

I saw the new SS deluxe figures, but no Clunker Bee. Also, no new voyagers either. My Walmart sure may have had everything, but they barely stock so any new things get sold out instantly.

Right now, Amazon.ca is selling the Transformers Cyberverse warrior class figures for $5.88 CAD ($4.41 USD) and the scout class figures for $4.12 CAD (just a little over $3 USD). They were being sold for a similar price on Walmart.ca this past week but now it is just Amazon selling them at this price. Toysrus will price match these prices too. Not sure if they will match with Thundercracker (the ONLY Transformers toy currently skipped by the US) since he is a different SKU number. These toys have proven fun for kids, and that Shockwave is not half bad so at this price it may be worth it for some. Speaking of the Cyberverse warriors, the latest wave with Prowl and Soundwave has been spotted at Canadian Walmarts and should reach Toysrus too.

But... But...
They're so cheap! Surely one would want to troop build?

Animated, RID & Cyberverse all suck! Nobody wants these goofy looking Nickelodeon, Looney Tunes, Spongebob Transformers. The opening scene from the Bumblebee movie is what everybody wants. Someday Hasbro will figure it out. Cyberverse goes straight to clearance because people can see they're over priced Dollar store garbage.

When you have Siege & Studio Series right next to Cyberverse why would any sane person choose Cyberverse? 8-}

Animated was the worst! Even worse than Beast Machines. Peaks & valley's. Animated & Beast Machines were the valley's, the lowest points of the franchise. Now we have RID & Cyberverse. Another low point. Thank God we have Siege & Studio Series to even things out. My Walmart put all the Cyberverse garbage in the clearance section & it still won't sell. Mixing Transformers with Looney Tunes or Spongebob's animation style just doesn't work.

Animated was awesome and Prime was an amazing show. I gave up after RiD's first season and after watching the abomination that was the Machimina Combiner Wars shorts, I gave up entirely on all shows.

For now, all that matter is the toys. Fiction be damned.

I bought some. And here is why (this goes out to all the Canadian lurkers our there). While they are of characters I dont need, I do intend on getting Soundwave and Skybite when they come out. So, since they are all the same number at TRU, I am buying some warriors now and will exchange them for the toys I want later. I wasnt greedy, just bought 3. I dont know how many I will want, even for 5$.

Reminds me of the time the beast hunter deluxes were 5$ in canada, I bought almost all of them (but didnt get Prowl because I am an idiot who was thinking "you dont really need them all do you?" :BANG_HEAD: )

Oh yeah, that's a bit sneaky, Will. Soundwave does look fun at least. Still, My true Cyberverses wants are for the silly Armor ones that are coming out soon.

First Canada's TRUs are spared, and now THIS?!? Sweet #@&%ing Primus, is it ever frustrating to live just across the river, yet so far away!

So, anyone else getting a second warrior Bee to customize into Cyberverse Glyph? There were enough good sales on Cyberverse last year that I already got my spare, so I'm just one batch of blue dye and a robo-boob-job away!

There, that should make the collective inappropriate comments eclectic enough to get this thread right back on track. Now if only Amazon would start using their Seinfeld names again...

Canada has been getting toys very late this year, compared to the US. EB Games has been the place to get toys first this year but stock is limited, as is the amount of locations, so below I will also be reporting at toys found at bigger retailers.

Cyberverse: Walmart has the latest 1 steps which include Prowl, the new Megatron and Optimus. They also have the new scouts which include Ratchet and Shadow Striker.

Siege: There have been sightings of Galaxy Prime at both Walmart and Toysrus. It is not in Walmart's database though, so buying him has been trickier there. All of Wave 2 has been found at Walmart now including the micromasters, battlemasters, deluxes and voyagers. Though not all provinces have found all these sizes.

Studio Series: While the DOTM Megatron and Jetfire leader figures were available much earlier on at EB Games they finally found their way to Walmart the past few weeks and are getting restocked.

Ectotron: EB Games has this toy in stores for $60 CAD. They are the exclusive retailer for this figure.

Interesting to see Ectotron at EB store.
If I see it live, maybe it will be an impulse purchase.

It's probably no rush man, it's only just coming out at Canadian retail, and most pre-orders outside Canada aren't even due for 2 more months!
