Rundown of Upcoming Transformers Blokees + a Devastator set which Will Not Be Available in the US

There's lots going on with the Blokees line. Did you know for instance that all those Constructicon alt mode toys are made to combine into Devastator? They do need an extra kit of combining bits though, G1 style, and that will be a problem for Americans since the US distribution arm of the Blokkes company has confirmed to fans that the add on kit will not be distributed to the US. They cite a licensing issue. You can, however, order it from the Show Z Store, along with the complete sets of Blokees needed to complete Blokees Devastator. They are absorbing the extra costs of tariffs too, so you don't pay extra once the toys land in the US (so they say). All links are below.

Gotta say I'm a little disappointed not to see more characters I recognise from on here - I see -Soundwave- and maybe Galvatron Prime, but maybe I'm missing someone? Perhaps they'll do a HMW 2 set with more options, sometime in the future...

Well, since it's now been 2 months since I contacted blokees about missing parts and 0 anything, no thanks. They were fun. Cool
.But after that, no thank you.

My gut tells me they won't leave the US high and dry. Maybe there's a box set coming.

Yes, I think so too. Which would be better for everyone since these are still blind box toys, making it tougher to only het the constructicons in the first place

Not to put salt in the wound, but we now have new images of a completed Blokees Devastator, and while the individual alt modes will be available in the US (in blind boxes), the combining kit won't be. It can still be imported though the Show Z store though, read this article for more details on that. The images are from Weibo User Mangangwan.

We also have some unfortunate news to share, Blokees will be raising the prices on their site on May 19th. As you can read in their announcement below, they say the cost increases are a bullet they just cannot judge. Blokees was very strong in the price front, offering a fun model kit at a very reasonable price, so it's understandable that this hurts them since it gnaws at their price leader advantage, in terms of Porter’s classic competitive strategies. The good news though is that the situation they are referring to is tariffs and they could be temporary, meaning the price increase could be temporary as well.

I just built my two first Blockees, ROTB Optimus Primal Bot and Beast.

The building experience was the BEST so far, with no overly fragile components and zero needs for glue. The light-up feature is excellent and the models are very solid once built. They are small, but they look very good. I overpaid a bit to get them, but they were well worth it. I may buy some more.

Devy looks pretty good. How tall is he supposed to be?

Looking at the last image where's he's stood next to the robot-mode Constructicons from the regular line, I'd say he's somewhere between 6" to 7" to the head. Mixmaster, shown coming up to the top of Devy's hips, is just about 4" to the top of his 'hood'.

I saw this in a news video by TJ Omega, apparently Blokees isn't allowed to sell the Devastator parts due to restrictions by the copyright holder. The speculation is the vehicles transform just enough that Hasbro said no. So no box set or anything like that. Also, probably means no combiners period.

My Transformers one set has shipped, and my Defenders wave 3 and Devastator parts should be shipping any time now. I am really excited to form Devastator and get Hot Rod.

I also found that old wedding cupcake stands are great for blokees

I'm late posting because the site hasn't let me on in over a week. I posted to Reddit at the time that I'm sure Blokees thought since they don't transform in the traditional sense that they'd be fine, but didn't get it approved through Hasbro and not being able to sell in the USA is their punishment. Hasbro has been increasingly lenient on these things, we've got our figures from Robosen, Flame Toys' Victory Saber, and the upcoming transforming OP figure kit from Unix Square, there's no real good reason for Hasbro not to allow Devastator aside from them not being told ahead of time.

"Devastator will not be available outside of the US"

As I suspected, there is an alternative build that looks just as good and only uses existing figures

Late post, this just came up in my recommended today though.

I got my Galaxy Wave 7 and Defender wave 3.

Of the Galaxy figures, I really like how Shockwave was built, really nice and unique kit. Also, the new neck pieces are awesome additions to help the posing, along with the extra ab crunch armor.

Of the Defenders, I love the 3 autobots in this set, they are really fun to mess with, even if I really wish I could have gotten the super rare Grimlock. Hot rod having his saw is still fun. Decepticons are good too, and i am super stoked to eventually get the Devastator parts!

So wave 8 of the Galaxy Class has been revealed as well as a little Ark that becomes a display stand.

I gotta say that Thrilling 30 styled Metroplex may be out of place, but he catches the eye is the best way.

Blokees has been making some new announcements on their Facebook page over the last couple days for a wide range of pop culture series, and of course they had some announcements for Transformers. They started off Friday morning with a gray CAD preview of Bumblebee and Megatron from Dark of the Moon as part of the Classic Class. Then this morning we were treated to the next entry in the Action Edition line, Tarn!

If you aren't familiar with Blokees, they're model kits but pre-painted and made with solid plastic that makes them feel more like traditional action figures when assembled. The Action Edition figures even have light-up features.

Thanks to Seibertronian Perceptor1996 for posting these in the Energon Pub forums! Head over there and let us know what you think of these. It's going to be a while before we have more information on these but there's still plenty to talk about.

More Blokees news with the would wave of Defender Version wave 5 and better look at Classic Class DOTM Bee and Megs, Action Edition Tarn and what appears to be a Action Edition TF Prime Optimus. I may not be a big fan of Prime, but if they do a full line for the show then I may dip in.

Another picture of Tarn and Prime. As well as five Transformers for their new Blokees Wheels range. Is includes Optimus, Scapper, what I think are Mirage and Hound. Then the last one that I don't know who they are suppose to be. Maybe Bumblebee because these seem to be new designs.
