The 2 pack looked kind of good. But then whoops, Prime has the massive backpack with 2 wheels. No thank you. Not worth the price. Last sdcc exclusive I bought was Universe Nemesis Prime (2008) Wow, I'm old lol

That Miner Megatron repaint is very bleh. The original with Reprolabels looks much, much better.
However, that heavy retool of Gamer Optimus is brilliant. A shame that the thighs are still hollow. Plus the back of the truck is sure to be a big void.
Overall, that's an easy skip.

The GE Optimus Prime the retool is good enough - not perfect (which the thighs got retooled as well), but good enough.
Megatron is just lazy. I like my Siege Megatron well enough (unless the upcoming SS86 Megatron blows me away, it'll probably stay as THE Megatron on my CHUG shelf), and I don't mind getting a Miner Megatron. But the mold is badly designed from the get-go with the loose ankle tilts and hip joints. And the successive reuses just made those figures even more of a floppy mess. So, naaaaaaaaaaaaah...
Might want the set if it's discounted, but I don't need it.

Man Prime has had so many great figures in the last two years and Poor Megatrong gets… a bubblegum hammer.
That may be my favorite Pre Earth Prime mode so far though and it reinforces my opinion that I would love to see Prime go to a Box Truck style rather than a trailer so he can get the right look and still be a Voyager price point.

Always nice to see Death's Head get more ML love, and I guess they had to go with the look he had for most of his interactions with the greater Marvel Universe, but I'd LOVE to have his original green design in this scale for better TF storyline reenactments. Could be a nice, cheap remold someday.

Going to try get both. Really like the way Prime turned out, Megatron is fine, and it'll be nice to have a Death's Head that can stand up to Transformers.

I think it's ten if not closer to twelve...
The SS86 version can't get here soon enough.
I like this OP figure, but I'm definitely passing until/unless it gets a solo release, and even then he'll be a "maybe".

I know a lot of people are curious about SS86. I'm pretty sure it wont be any of these, especially being a Leader class. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Heavy HEAVY retool of the SS concept design BB Movie version (especially with hidden Gun Mode)

We have in hand images of the upcoming SDCC exclusive 2 pack featuring IDW inspired Orion Pax and Gladiator Megatron. The most telling of these images are the comparisons. While Orion Pax is a retool of the SS GE WFC Optimus Prime mold, it is significantly bigger. Not only that, but he doesnt have that gapping hole in his backside. While we can see the similarities to the original mold, these pictures show just how extensive the retooling is.
Unlike other sets, this isn't one where you can wait for a discount, as it will sell out quickly due to its limited nature. Will you be getting it?

I have all of these. I can't believe we have that many uses of the same mold(s) and not a single figure based on the original concept art/Marvel comics design. Maybe in studio series.

I can't believe that Prime with all that extra tooling will only be available in some exclusive set. If I didn't know better I'd say it looks like a Generation Oneified version of RID 2015 Optimus Prime.

I wish they could have released these two as singles. I'm interested in Optimus but not that Megatron mold. However, I really do not like those WFC design thighs on Optimus. The set is an easy pass.

I'm the opposite. I'll gladly take that Megatron, but don't care for the Prime.
