No, not a confused droid, but a reminder that next weekend I’m off to Derry for the annual Derry comicon, 2D, an event growing in both stature and reach each successive year. 08’s event features, well, me, but also the estimable likes of Garry Leach, David Hine, Alan Martin, Rufus Dayglo, Jock and Nick Roche (who’s gearing up to draw the upcoming 5-issue Maximum Dinobots series). I’ll be there throughout the Saturday (June 7th), signing and so forth, and also conducting a portfolio review with Garry Leach and compeering the evening panel (The Rise and Rise of Comics) at Sandinos.
We had previously reported an interview with IDW Publishing editor Denton J. Tipton that discussed the works of a Dinobot book, but what we didn't know was that it would be a 5 issue series!!! Dinobot lovers everywhere can look foward to this story arc with Mr. Furman at the helm and Nick Roche on art.
So here's another chance to meet Simon Furman for any of you who may be attending. To read the whole blog entry, click here.
More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

Awesome. Going to have to grab a train down for this, I didn't even know there was a convention in Derry. I know Q-Con goes on pretty close to where I'm living now, but it's a bit shite.
