Why reissue this when the first one never sold out? I could see redoing it in blue as Glyph, or really out there, doing it in orange as Volks. But Bee, again?

It sold out rather quickly in Japan which is the market those sites cater too.

Yes, 1.

The red tailight is red paint on clear plastic in one and on the other it is clear red plastic with yellow paint covering everything else.

The Japanese version sold just fine because it could be bought considerably cheaper than the TRU version (and even more so over the scalped ones sold by TFSource and BBTS). The version can be had for as low as around US$42, even with US$7 or $8 for shipping you're still coming in at US$15 under TRU's price.

About $140 before shipping.

You can get him for only $110 right now from Japan (with an opened box)

Works out to $155 after shipping. That BBTS price is mighty tempting.

What helps is BBTS bought all their copies when the Yen was lower than it is now. And since you are getting a new one with them, its a far better purchase.

While I am happy about the Masterpiece reissues, I am kinda hoping they rerelease the MP-11SW and MP-11T versions of the Starscream molds in Thundercracker and Skywarp. I need those two bots. I also would like to find a reissue of the cassettes that came as additional for the Masterpiece Soundwave. I need those as well, tho I bought recently the bootleg KO soundwave Takara ver., with the added ratchet joints. I actually prefer that version, and the paint apps were not an issue on mine. My laserbeak was actually painted pretty well. Tho, based on vid reviews online, I did take him and clear coat his body to keep the paint from chipping. I got the best clear coat spray out there, it works wonders and serves to bond the paint to the plastic and diecast parts.

I will wait to get the resissue of Megatron, and I hope beyond hope that they reissue most of the current MP line up, from MP 11 on.. I think MP-10 has plenty of releases so far, and is still the gold standard in Masterpiece figures..

Sorry for nerco-ing this, but i just noticed something. I was looking around for a more specific release date for the MP-22 reissue, since he's coming up (still haven't found anything better than "january"). I noticed on his lower legs, the inner portion of them is entirely red, whereas the original had blue paint there, with white paint just below the knee, if i believe correctly.
Do you guys think this is just a bad photo of a poorly painted proto or will he have differently coloured legs?

According to TakaraTomy Mall the MP-22 reissue is due January 27, 2018.

That's just the old stock photos. And fixed on the revamped Takara website --
