I jest, but in all sincerity, Star Saber is an awesome figure. He should be proud of it. I just think he might be a tad overboard with the (self)promotion.

I am still really curious as to the other decos that have yet to be revealed. Like Drift, the insecticons, lockdown and the mysterious steeljaw redeco that comes in a two pack with strongarm. Dont know what's taking so long to show them, they are due out in june (3 months).

TFyuki's never ending Twitter feed brings us some more Transformers Adventure figures. For today's sampling we get to see TAV-02 Grimlock and TAV-05 Fixit, but MP-24 Starsaber was strangely absent. Don't be confused by Takara Tomy's TAV designation for Fixit though. Hasbro's Fixit is actually from the 1-Step line while Grimlock is a Warrior Class figure. The differences for Strongarm were very apparent but I dont see any for Grimlock.

I actually feel that Hasbro's Fixit has the more show-accurate colors. Deeper orange and light gray, instead of the lighter orange and dark gray seen here.

Ugh. The Takara versions give you nothing over the Hasbro ones, especially on Fixit. I think Fixit looks better with silver, instead of black, plastic. Grimlock...maybe it's just me, but I'm not seeing a single change at first glance...
It's actually worth it to save the money and just buy domestic, here in the States. =\

One thing you might not have noticed, if you will look at the beast mode feet, the toe nails are painted black on the takara while left unpainted on the hasbro one. If you did notice, then sorry.

The key difference between the Hasbro and TakaraTomy versions lies in the symbols used for the Apps: Hasbro's use only two colors, while TakaraTomy's have a few more. The Grimlocks shown are both TakaraTomy: you just can't see the black dino toes because they aim backwards in robot mode (the lower arms turn 180).
