I love that they got the pink right! Even though I like the FE Arcee a little better overall, I love this head sculpt on this mold.
At first I thought her Arms Micron was the battle blade stolen from the NYCC FE Arcee. It's very....pink. If I had to complain about this toy...the giant pink gun sword would be it.
Not that I don't like gun swords....but its just...so...pink...
Are those paint apps or decals? It's kinda hard to tell on the picture.
Still!
Will be getting this asap!

In spite of the poor lighting in this pic, her blue kinda looks to be the same as the Hasbro version.
Decals. Arms Micron toys don't have paint apps (other than the face).WiEGoP wrote:Are those paint apps or decals? It's kinda hard to tell on the picture.

Unless you mean the minicon, and IMO swords can be as pink as they want to.

The toy is mainly blue. I can't see how it's too pink.freaky777 wrote:WOW!!! That's a little to pink..

Thanks! I knew that they were supposed to be decals, but I wasn't quite sure.
Now if only they would come out with a Arms Micron Ratchet that is more show accurate than the stupid RiD one.

Freaky77 probably means that it's more loud a shade of pink than was expected, since her pink is much lighter a shade int he show (even in evening and nighttime scenes).orangeitis wrote:The toy is mainly blue. I can't see how it's too pink.freaky777 wrote:WOW!!! That's a little to pink..

I'm hoping that Reprolabels completely rips off the Takara sticker sheet and gives us the same stickers (in a much less explosive pink) to put on the Hasbro Arcee.

First edition superior...AM-11 version inferior...
I got the one Am that appealed to me, Skywarp..I don't dig the idea of stickers vs paint aps but putting the little micron together was kinda cool

I gotta say the rid weapons are better(it's just two bad the rid version only has 1 arm blade).

I agree on the weapons (on both counts), that's why I got 2 RiD's (and the blades are currently attached to the arms of my FE).
I may swap them to the AM version though, as the blue looks more accurate and overall, I like this mold better than the FE as it's more accurate on several counts.

The weapon looks like Soul Edge to me from the Soul Calibur series. But aside from that, the weapon is good for custom figures and the figure itself is okay.

The RiD Ratchet is the better one. Trust me. The extra kibble for the micron and stickers for the AM version are stupid.

I don't get it why don't the takara versions have paint apps. it's the same mold.......are they made in diferent factories or something(if so what a waste of money)? I admit I'm biased against stickers I can never get them placed right. but seriously transformer nipple....not as bad as bat nipple but still.....but still

Oh thank god I'm not the only one that thought that looked like a boob.
It's their gimmick. Allowing the consumer to "complete" the figure with the stickers adds a sense of personalization. Even if it's superficial, you put those stickers on, and you built that Micron. This toy is yours. That's what they're shooting for. As a selling point, it has its pros and cons, no doubt, but that's why there's the US versions.

What's with the misconception that none of the AM figs have paint? Sure, Ratchet & Cliff and some others may be scarce, but let's not forget the Skywarp or Megatron they gave us, that look fantastic without the stickers, or even the Optimus, which has even improved paint!

That's not paint on those figures. That's a wide variety of different colored plastics. The darker blue on Arms Micron Optimus is simply a darker blue plastic rather than a dark blue paint.JamesLasagnaboy wrote:What's with the misconception that none of the AM figs have paint?
