How about some more TAV and TED reveals? The interestingly named Japanese Christmas Toy Trade Fair is being held in Japan and Takara surely has a table full of goodness. It has taken the opportunity to reveal TAV-33 Optimus Prime Supreme Mode (from the TAV 21 mold made exclusively by them for their market), which was previously hinted at with an unpainted prototype.

We also see what Takara has up their sleeves for their version of the Robots in Disguise Legion figures like Underbite and Megatronus. This might be the way to get Megatronus individually, unlike how Hasbro has him teamed up with an Optimus redeco as a Toysrus exclusive pack.

These are also the first in hand images of the slew of upcoming TAV releases which we finally saw earlier this week such as TAV Battle Grimlock, Supreme Bumblebee, Black Shadow, and Stepper. What is probably most interesting is that we see a stand in featuring the upcoming VS set featuring "origin" Drift and "Battle" Jazz and it seems this Jazz has a visor, just as the Stepper redeco has.

No, he only comes with his weapons and Megatronus' straff. The other one came with all the weapons that the predacon hunter would turn into on the show such as the Bumblesabre, Jazz' lance, Sideswipe's katana and the crossbow weapon that Strongarm has which did not come with her figure. TAV 21 is still the only way to get that exclusive weapon of her's.

I am not trying to make you feel bad, I am just trying to make myself feel better since I much preffer the weapons this toy comes with :-(

Haha sure! I looked back on what I paid for shipping on the other guy and realized this was truly a one time thing. While it was the best deal for me, no one would buy him loose at a price high enough to cover my cost. But its fine. What I care most for in all TF toys is the sculpt. And I got that covered. And TAV 21 looks great too. I actually preffer this guy simply because he can interact with both the deluxe cars and the minicons and I am not too fond of the weapon gimick with TAv 21. But anyways.

In a very dramatic example, this is like being someone who didnt want kids to realize he cant have any even if he wanted to. He was happy not having kids, but he was happy with the fact that it was a choice. No one likes being deprived of info when making a choice and this is how I feel about this guy but to a much lesser extent. My daughter will be 1 month this friday by the way and she is doing great.

No its not. And that is why you may now understand what I meant earlier. The difference is really big but you have to preorder the day it goes up. Which gives you very little room to choose, hence why I took that Optimus TAv 21 without a moment's hesitation. Same for all the other TAVs. I would have liked to know Jazz would come with Drift before that preorder because then I would have held off on getting him and waited for this set instead.

Keep being subsribed to both this thread and the "now available online thread" where hopefully someone will inform us when this set is vailable.
