I've never been to a Transformers con, or really any con with such a specific focus. Is it worth it? Whats there to actually do? Is the dealer's hall just the same like 5 current toys at every booth?

Each convention is different. There are lots of older Transformers and 3rd party TFS and even Star Wars, GI joe... At least half of what they sell usually is Transformers related. Some have had G1 cartoons & Japanese Headmasters playing 24/7, artists, writers, voice actors, dealer rooms, costume contests, fan made films, presentations of new products, you'll meet new people... There is a tour of downtown Chicago if anyone is interested in that.

So the guy begs to be taken off the Marvel Transformers comic and now he wants to attend the conventions?
Whatever.
His stuff up until #24 is classic though. I wonder why after writing the original Transformers tech specs why he didn't want to write #1-4?
