Yay for fan justification!!!
2 years ago:
You-I like transformers.
Guy 2-That lame old cartoon? get a life & stop playing with toys.
Now:
You-I like Transformers
Guy 2-Hell yeah, that movie was awsome!! & hey, good luck on your collecting!! I'm going to go go get that Camero one myself.....
Sadly, between that & Fisher Price's recall earlier for toys having too much lead paint in them, It's going to be hell trying to find anything Transformers this christmas.

Let's keep the wishful thinking out of this thread, please. I can't stand how every thread in this forum either becomes a "I want __________ In TF2" or a total flame war.

You should see the one where one guy is trying to convince everybody that Soundwave
must be a boombox in TF2 & why...18 + pages of him just saying that he has to be one over & over.

It's 36th in the top grossing films worldwide, probably wont get much higher than that.
The sequel probably will though.
$600 million is nothing to sneeze at, the film has quadrupled it's budget, and still has the DVD sales, the only films that are beating it at this point are sequels.

You know, that's assuming that the people who saw the first one want to see the next one. I've heard a lot of people say they didn't think it was very good. I doubt they'll see the next one. I have noticed is everyone qualifying their comments with "for a non-sequel". But, if these people don't come back, then ...
