Certainly very impressive that he looks so accurate and great in both modes considering the relatively small size. I said before I wasn't planning on getting it as I still want the Leader version but I might get the Deluxe too for my desk rather than my display shelf. It can be one of my desk figures that I fiddle about with when I'm supposed to be working on stuff. It makes the original 2007 Starscream toy and even the much improved 2009 mold look very shabby when taking the size difference into account. Nice work.

Great figure for a deluxe size. Just throw the stupid weapon in the box with the others.

But heres what I dont get:

Hasbro whines and bitches about leaked photos on the internet. Yet they send advance copies to select chosen individuals months before the release. He even states that he will pull the video if Hasbro objects to it. The guy on the review speaks perfect english so Im guessing somehow this figure made it all the way from the factories of China to North America. It didnt just appear out of thin air. Somebody hooked this guy up. So if Hasbro has an issue with people showing off their stuff early, why do they keep hooking people up ???

No disrespect, just food for thought :-?

Hasbro doesn't supply Peaugh with his figures. He's been doing these early reviews for years he obviously has a source in Asia that acquires the figures and ships them to him. We've been seeing the two figures from DOTM he's reviewed so far in auctions for over a month. He even states in the Ironhide video that they are QC rejects from the factory. If they were from Hasbro they would probably be packaged or at least have the instructions. Peaugh often has to update his reviews with revisions since he's figuring out the transformations on his own. I have no idea who hooks him up with his figures, but some of his videos have a KOToys watermark so that would indicate there is some connection there.

I agree with Peaugh, it seems nice for a Deluxe, and pretty true to the movie look.
It's a lot better than the first voyager version.

I'm not a big fan of the on-screen movie designs in general, and their Starscream in particular, but I've been suckered into buying him 3 times (Voyager 1, voyager 2 and leader), just to round out the movie cast.

I won't be getting this one.

Not bad. The movie design isn't my favourite version of Starscream by a long way and I'm pretty much concentrating on a neo G1 theme to my current buying so I'm not likely to be picking this one up. Does the asymetric weapon stowage under the wings and weapon combination remind any one else of E Starscream/SL Nightscream? Not sure if that would have been a deliberate design decission given the range wide weapons gimmick with this film's toys but a nice little hommage non the less.
