The third issue of IDW's Transformers 'Ongoing' left us with a lot of questions and a handful of captured Autobots. The fine folks over at Bzzurkk have ended the cliffhanger, as they've got the fourth instalment previewed. This issue, among many other things, looks to focus on a familiar blue fighter jet. You can check out the covers, description and a little preview below....

Transformers #4

Written by Mike Costa with art by Don Figueroa and covers by Figueroa and Andrew Wildman.

His ambivalence cost him his allegiance. His betrayal set the stage for Autobot victory. His name is THUNDERCRACKER, and this issue reveals what he's been doing these past three years after his brutal expulsion from the Decepticons in All Hail Megatron! Mike Costa and Don Figueroa show you perhaps the most unique transformation of all...

Interesting, with the minimal showing of faces, the art looks cool. (Damn, can't wait for my MP Skywarp to arrive...)

Looking forward to it. A good Thundercracker story is always welcome.

I second that, Thundercracker is easily the most interesting of the seekers and the least explored. My impression of Thundercracker is that he was an extremely effective warrior on Cybertron, but lost his way since the war started on earth. He is holding back!

I thought that Megatron lost his way, or at least that's what Thundercracker said in the final issue of AHM just before he flew up to catch the A-bomb and hurl it into outer space.

For those looking forward to a Spotlight: Thundercracker in this issue... you're dreams are cut short. I gave this series a chance but reading this on a bad day put me over the edge. Hot Rod, or should I call him 'Rodimus Prime' - his attitude is just unbearable. This is just another set-up issue. I thought we'd be seeing something big here, but nope..

I'd give away more but Tigertracks has got a nice review coming up... right now.
