Transformers Prime Season 2 Now Available on DVD

Hasbro Studios and Shout! Factory have released season 2 of Prime in a 4 disc DVD set today. The set will be available on Blu-Ray on November 27th, 2012. You can view the full press release about this set that was released this past August by clicking here. You can find it at the following retailers:

  • Amazon ($17.99 DVD, $43.83 Blu-Ray)
  • Wal-Mart ($21.89 DVD, $41.86 Blu-Ray)
  • Target ($17.99 DVD. As of right now, their only listing is for DVD.)

Aside from the obvious video/audio quality, are there any differences between the DVD and Blu-Ray releases of season 2?

I was wondering the same. I got the dvd version for xmas, and was considering swapping out for the bluray version. Is the bluray version THAT much better visually?
