No, they were as advanced in engineering as any other 2007-2010 toys were, and were about as complex as the easiest-to-medium ROTF toys and the HFTD toys. They were not this simple (speaking of the Warrior class toys, that is).
Totally agree with this.

damn that was fast, hasbro must be as sick of AoE as everyone else is. But i guess the final wave of AoE wont be showing up in a lot of places, which kinda sucks cause it had some good looking figures in it.

Hmm. These pics aren't at all flattering. I'm quite a bit disappointed. So...Combiner Wars, Masterpiece, 3rd party and...Power Rangers Dino Charge for me. RID Deluxe Bumblebee looks nice, at least.

I can totally go for this series, I'm liking it more every day.
Same, but I would prefer TFP to this. The animation on prime was realistic.
The animation still has to convince me. From what I've seen, it's kinda rough. Maybe they'll...
fixit!

Is there a One-Step Optimus that we know of, or is it just the Warrior and the Legion figure?

Just those two. Then again, what we do know is pretty meager as is:

Transformers RID toys are available in Ireland:
http://www.smythstoys.com/ie/en-ie/toys ... -warriors/ (Out Now)
http://www.smythstoys.com/ie/en-ie/toys ... p-changer/ (19th Dec)
http://www.smythstoys.com/ie/en-ie/toys ... s-legions/ (16th Dec)
While it is great to see we are getting Legions and Warrior, there is no way I'm paying €20 for a Deluxe. Still Next time in in SMYTHS I'll see if I can get some pics.

im not really sure what to think.
hollow bits. but decent looking articulation.
small looking. but nice cartoony detail.
grimlock could use some weapons.
and there could be more paint apps.
ill give the line a whirl. buy bee and grim at least when i see them.

I've expected Grimlock not to be that huge so I'm not bummed about that. Wonder how he scales with TFA Swoop and Snarl?
I'm actually a little surprised how big Strongarm is compared to AM Ironhide and RID Bumblebee. It's nice and it fits her seeing how she's a truck. As for Steeljaw his arms look off but otherwise he looks fun.

Right, let's move away from Transformers Generations Combiner Wars for a while, as TFND's blacklai brings us some more photography - this time, it's the entire wave 1 of the upcoming Transformers: Robots in Disguise Warrior class figures: Autobots Bumblebee, Strongarm, Grimlock and Decepticon Steeljaw, including some comparison shots with Transformers: Prime figures and fun shots. Check some of the mirrored images below, and the whole thing here!
