Ya know I get it. It's an exclusive, an Asian exclusive at that but I was expecting 30-40 not $60. Oh well. Cheers to anyone who gets it

Deluxes are already $20 each in some places, add the premiums for exclusivity and importing those things... Yeah. I'm hoping for a domestic release at Toys 'R Us, the "evolution" theme seems to hint at that.

That WFC Optimus was once worth 60$US alone on Ebay a while back. Now, if you want one, it's "only" 30$US on average plus shipping.

CW deluxes were $20 (at TRU anyway) but TR, unless you're getting soaked by online seller, those are more like $15 and change (including tax).

I still haven't paid more than $15 for a deluxe or $25 for a voyager. My walmarts(there's 7 in my city) got movie deluxes for $15 and voyagers are all still $25 at targets and walmarts and toysrus

$60? for 2 deluxes? That is a big ole NOPE for me. I'll keep the fingers crossed for some type of Target/TRU/Walmart exclusive, but otherwise give up on this one.

I'm interested in this one, but only for the WFC Prime. The paint job, although it isn't that different, makes him look even better than the old one, and that is still one of my favorite official TFs out there. In contrast, I have no interest in the Kup mold.
However, I cannot justify spending $60 on a pack which has only one deluxe that I want in it, no matter how cool he is. (Although, granted, I do that with third parties, so bias maybe?
) I can only hope he'll be cheaper on the aftermarket.

Many do that for multiple figure sets. It's the best way to get the ONE you want for a relatively reasonable price. If you can handle the inconvenience of having to sell the others.

Well Seibertron.... we got an odd one for you. It appears that in celebration of the Transformers Movie Franchise's 10th anniversary, we're going to be getting some reissue's of past movie toys. It may even be a sub-line titled "Transformers Tribute" and starting with the 2007 Leader Class Optimus Prime! Thanks to some Facebook and Weibo users we have some images on him in and out of box, and side by side with other Movie Prime alumni. Specifically though, he's not a straight reissue as he has some different paint apps along with a pile of chrome, and is not the resculpted "Premium" release.

The Orion Pax/WfC Optimus Prime 2-pack is also part of Transformers Tribute. Which makes it hard to properly classify. Is it a Movie line? A Generations-themed line?

Eh, since Generations has encompassed Movie figures before, I'll put it with the generic Generations-themed lot for now, without a sub-line.
