In Demand Toys have posted, on their Facebook page, images of Leader Class Optimus Prime both in and out of package! As you can see, he's packaged with his trailer opened up to repair bay mode, in order to accommodate it in the packaging space.

Additionally, we have images of Optimus out of packaging and giving us some action poses, as well as showing us what is likely the final deco for the figure. A while back, there were images posted of what now seems to be a custom painted figure, with blue hands and codpiece, as well as blue eyes, rather than the G1 toy accurate yellow eyes.

What do you think of these pictures? Will Optimus end up with grey hands and yellow eyes? Or were those previous images a hand painted sabine of what the figure will turn out to look like? Feel free to speculate below!

A very unknown fact about G1 Optimus is that his trailer is sentient...and kind of a Yandere.

This prime has the potential to be the next SS Leader Prime, where there are stock images of 3 different decos and we don't know what it actually looks like until someone finds it at Walmart or Target.

Possibly holding him back for a Micromaster release? A small part of me is hoping we'll see a G1 styled IDW Roller released, with one accesory being the standard Roller, but I know that that's very unlikely

The only thing that bugs me about this figure are those trailer wheels. Maybe its because I deal with tractors/trailers pretty much on a daily basis but those are not ok in my eyes. [-(

The bot's torso proportion is not as balanced as Siege's version, the rest of him is equal/better than Siege OP IMO.

But I got my MP, and a custom painted Siege OP as my go-to G1 OP already. With maxed out shelf space and limited toy spending budget, unless it changes my mind in-hand, I really don't need to pick this one up...

It'd be a different story if I never had the Siege version. Maybe if it's on sale and shelfwarming, I might pick it up to help clear my local toy store space... if I feel generous. :lol:

Here are some thoughts:

Worst case scenario: There was no way to rectify the blue hands, so a 3rd party company will likely make an upgrade kit.

Medium case scenario: The hands are blue, yet the eyes remain yellow, so I will use a gel pen to blueify them.

Best case scenario: The in-hand photos are not customized and the prime will have the blue hands and eyes.

About roller: Roller might likely be sold at the battle master price point.

I am currently thinking of ways that Hasbro could pull a siege and release a superior version of this mold. The only thing I can think of at the moment is a classic animation counterpart which seems rather unlikely. I do hope that there is a Nemesis prime repaint possibly released through selects.

Even though this list is a fake, the one toy I hope gets released in the Earthrise toy line, and is shown for the first time at New York Toy Fair in February is a Voyager Class toy of Snapdragon.

Honestly I’m gonna skip on this figure, yes it’s looks good, but I like siege just the way it is. Plus I am going to make a lego trailer for siege prime just like lazy eyebrows review did on youtube. It just isn’t worth the money honestly and I might be in the minority on this, but the torso on this one is just a little odd. But that’s just me

I thought Siege Optimus was the greatest normal line Optimus Prime we ever got, absolutely love him.

Then Hasbro made Earthrise Optimus... with trailer.

Born in 1985, Hardcore Transformer fan, will die march 2020 of happiness when he's released.

John Warden said the hands would be grey since day 1 and even said why. I wouldnt expect anything different.
