According to the report, Silverstreak was not spotted at the time, but is supposed to be a part of that wave.
Sideswipe is a repaint of his brother Sunstreaker, with a new head mold, and slightly different transformation, while Ironhide is a brand new mold paying homage to the Generation 1 character animated design that never was reproduced close to accurately as a toy.

Just a quick heads up to correct the bit about Silverstreak not being there, and I posted this in reply to the original news story over at tfw2005 (though it was buried beneath about eight pages of comments), the Wal-Mart in question is only about ten minutes away from my house, so the day this news broke, I hurried over there, found Silverstreak, and bought him. So it looks like he was indeed there with the other two, but was simply missed by DisThunder (not that I'm complaining, 'cause that means I got to buy him... though truth be told, I still would've probably preferred Ironhide). And just to be official, here's a pic I took that night of the figure with the receipt:

I picked up Swipe and Steak at WM today, sadly they had no Ironhides. Possibly snatched by a scalpler since there were plenty of the other two.

I saw two of the three at Walmart closest to my work on lunch break today.
