He looks a LOT better than previous looks at him had led me to believe. Not entirely sure how much of a fan I am of a purple that deep, but nevertheless its a good look.

I like the deep purple on the body, but it's a bit much for his face. It seems to wash out all of the sculpting detail. I know the purple face is G1 toy accurate, which is Hasbro's bag, but I think in this case, going for a gray or silver face would have worked a lot better. It would help the face stand out and compliment and contrast the purple elsewhere on the figure instead of kind of getting lost in it all. Here's hoping Takara can work their screen accurate magic on the presumed Legends release.

does anyone think kickback looks too small compared to the other insects
Re: Video Review of Transformers Titans Return Blitzwing with Hazard

I think he fits in well personally.
Plus the "insect" he turns into is a skinnier bug then the other two so it fits plus Kickback is the agile one.

the reason for the tail fin splitting in half is so it goes flat against the robot modes back

It really is too deep, especially on his face. I like the tan shade better than Thrilling 30. It's weird seeing him next to T30, they have dramatically different aesthetics. TR is certainly more "g1" in terms of styling than other iterations of Generations. I happen to have one with the Dr. Wu head and gun upgrades and shoulder tabs (got a good deal on one from a cybertron.ca member), which helps...
It's weird. I actually think I like this mold better as Megatron. It really works for him, and I like it better with the grays and blacks. That said? I LOVE the Blitzwing jet mode. It's just absolutely bang-on and might be enough for me to pick-up on sale. Plus, he is one of my favorite TFs of all time.
Thing that's bugging me, though, is that I'll get OctOne to act as "Tall Tankor" on my IDW shelf (along with "Fat Tankor"), and I'll have two Blitzwings, but I have no desire for Astrotrain. I already bought and sold one. But it will feel weird to have all three Autobot triple-changers in voyager and NOT have all three Decepticons, even though for my personal displays I don't even have a fucking place for Astrotrain!*
*my IDW shelf isn't "EVERYBODY WHO EVER APPEARED IN IDW." It's more "Lost Light" and then some specific set-ups and pairings, like Windblade with Chromia, Ironhide, Wheeljack, or Arcee and Sideswipe. Astrotrain was Galvatron's bus.
**Also can we get a voyager chug Starscream YESTERDAY already?

Chefatron is at it again, this time providing us with a review of the new Titan Master Ramhorn! Ramhorn is a retool of the wave 4 Shuffler Titan Master, with his little vehicle transforming from a Rhino to a tank to a missile launching gun. He will be available along with the rest of wave 5 some time this summer. Check out the review below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Could have done with a better closeup of the head to see if it's retooled from the elephant snout, but o well. Hope to see more of those unused HM designs in the future.
He will be renamed when I get him though. In case you're wondering, the Battle Beast counterpart is Rocky Rhino, aka Greysharp.

I am now really wondering why this is the only titan master we are seeing. How can this be the only new guy in the wave? And can we at least know who else is released in that wave? it looks like this is a solid case.

If there was more than one new one in that wave, wouldn't it have been found with the Ramhorn? If Wave 5 has been released over there, they wouldn't just get Ramhorn.

Unless its a solid case. We've had solid cases in the other classes. But yes, that would be odd. But even if this is the only new titan amster, I would at least want to know who is repacked. Clobber, for instance, is hard to track down since his wave was repalced by a repack wave that didnt include him.

Crazy theory: what if wave 4 had the extra deluxe so the figures were released before the movie, and wave 5 is short on figures because they are being released around the movie. The movie has taken priority so rather than release a full wave, they are releasing only a partial wave so they are still releasing the figures, but allowing more room for the movie guys. Might also be why we've not heard anything solid about wave 6 leader because that is when the movie leaders are meant to come

Apeface can barely be seen in the initial pics on the store shelves. Unless that is old store stock.
Not all of wave 5 is out over there...the Deluxes & Leader Overlord have yet to be seen. There is little doubt that movie toys will make other lines scarce (not disappear completely, but very limited)...it happens every time unfoprtunately.

Per the video. How do you give something 9 out of 10, when you don't theres things wrong with it. Dude to me that score is almost a perfect figure.
