According to Hasbro at BotCon 2010, Backwind is pronounced "as if to wind something" or to "wind a watch" or "wind a path through mountains". Unfortunately, the most popular pronunciation is like "wind", as in "moving air", which makes one think that this character might have problems with flatulence.
