I held off on getting the voyagers. If I see tan onslaught or scattershot in stores I may get them but I really want silver onslaught. I mean, they are are going on the shelf as Bruticus so...needs to look right

I took the plunge, already saw some preorder figures were sold out. I had to get the Scattershot/Onslaught combo. I really aint into Scattershot but it wouldn't hurt to have him on the shelf.
It's strange because they did do retolling on Scattershot. The jet mode looks different enough. Don't know why they couldn't bother with remolding the combiner head.

Well those guys yeah, but was referring to the ones up for pre-order with no picture swelter, kickback, hammer and what I assume will be an arctic deco for slipstream.

I don't know why they couldn't bother with painting the combiner head. Prolly didn't catch it until it was too late. Oh well, there's a few afternoons the 3rd party folks can spend their time with.

This is actually the first CW wave where I want all the figures from the Legends/Deluxe/Voyager sizes, as I don't have any of them on my Classics-verse shelf. So I've pre-ordered the lot.
Still think it's kinda sh*tty for BBTS to have such a price discrepancy between Onslaught and Scattershot...

That's why I never pre-order anything. prices for preorder are always higher and I usually find them for much cheaper when they start hitting stores

Woah woah wait a sec, 32.99$ for Onslaught?!?!?!?!?! That is insane, and plus its sold out?! If I were BBTS I would just see that as a sign that I should always raise my price on the more desired items by 33% or maybe even more. Well, at least its scalper proof.

I like getting from amazon or ebay since the shipping is free on $35 or more amazon orders and so many things I find on ebay have very cheap or free shipping (got Strongarm back in june for $2.50 and $2.50 shipping, cant go wrong there)

Yikes! I didn't even notice that. Scattershot is only $22.00 though. I guess if you get both of them for $49, it comes to $25 a figure which is alright for anyone who wants both but sucks for those who just want Onslaught.
I go back and forth on trying to find them in stores vs just biting the bullet and paying extra to get them all at once like this. My local stores still haven't gotten the Masquerade wave in. It took forever for Ultra Magnus to show up.

I was thinking of doing the same thing battle core optimus with rook and alpha vravo and demolisher with off road and blast off because I think takara will make a shuttle figure.
Who else are you using in your outcast combiner? I'm interested to know.
