The grocery store franchise, Aldi's, will be carrying Transformers this year again as part of their limited selection of toys for the holiday season. Just like the groceries they sell, they will be selling the toys in their stores for as cheap as possible. Check out the deals to be had at your local Aldi's starting November 2!

Well, the Aldi's here just stocked their TF's. They had the SW crossovers, TF:A up to wave three (Snarl, Soundwave, Jazz, Oilslick), Legends (Barricade, SS, Hot Shot) and the electronic BB.
I'm kinda impressed.
Also Bionicle, which is awesome for kitbashes.

Cheap = Awesome!

Well, I will be checking my Aldi tomorrow for these prizes as well! There's a couple of those I could add to my collection!

Go forth and be thrifty!

I calculated up my grocery shopping total yesterday, plus if I would have gotten two or three TF's from Aldi's, and it was still LESS than the 25th Prime at WM.

The only downside is, if you don't happen to have a quarter, no shopping cart for you.

It's a genius system, ain't it? Prevents idiots from trashing their carts by actually costing them a quarter if they don't put them back in the corals.

Yeah, then you don't get the wobbly-cart syndrome nearly every WM cart has. After all, a quarter is worth not having my store-brand and secondary brand cheese and hot dogs, not to mention cheap TF's, get all jiggly.
Jiggle jiggle. That's fun to say.

On another note, Aldi's is actually selling computers and laptops, as well as Hot Wheels and other big name toys (Dora, Cars, Imaginex).

I agree! When I go to Aldi's, I bring 2 things from home: A boatload of WM plastic shopping bags (I won't pay 8 cents per bag there!) and my little "cart quarter"...They have the best shopping carts of any store because of their system...No wobble-wheel carts there! They are all practically shiny-new!

Never thought I'd be lurking at Aldi looking for TFs...but it's cool all the same...cheap eats and cheap "plastic-crack"...what a combo! :grin:

I stopped in the local Aldi store, and saw the Transformers. They are there and low priced. They had wave one of the Deluxe Animated, wave one of the Universe Legends, that non-transforming Bumblebee and 3 or 4 different Star Wars Figures. Not bad priced, but all ones I already had or didn't want.

found them today but i had to accross the river to illinois i got 3 animated, but i wanted a starwars one but they didnt carry it at that location

Aldi's is selling transformers animated deluxe again starting 4-2 but there the same as Target 8.99 ...well see how much buisness they steal away. :?:
