Amazon.com has posted two new pre-order pages for two larger releases. One we had heard about, the other is a surprise.

First off is the G2 inspired repaint of Transformers Fall of Cybertron Bruticus for US $59.99, which you can view by clicking here. Based on the price and the description, this is for a full set of Combaticons.

I've been thinking about getting a Jetwing Prime, but didn't want to spend $200 on the thing, so this is great news.

As for Bruticlus, I might go with this one over the SDCC version. It's cheaper, and I love delightfully bad G2 color schemes.

Wow, I was NOT expecting G2 FOC Bruticus to be so cheap! I preordered that bad boy so fast! It's going to look kick ass on my Neo G2 shelf

I also think it's cool we Americans will finally have a chance at Jetwing Prime. I'd buy it, but I already have the black version.

I just applied for an amazon gift card and they took 30 bucks off! I got this guy for around $30 hell yah. I wasn't going to pay a hundred for him since I have the fans project bruticus. I really hope the packaging is cool so I can just keep his sexy G2 ass in there.

Can anyone tell me any major differences between this Optimus and the Leader version, apart from the attachable wings and pea shooters?
He looks very similar.

I wonder what has happened to the G1 redeco of Leader Ironhide? :-?

I was on the fence about Bruticus but that price won me over. I don't even mind the G2 color scheme, especially since the normal release Bruticus looks just as gaudy.

We desperately need him here, will we get him? No, probably not. Thanks a lot Hasbro.

Compared to the ROTF leader prime: he has a new chest/abdomen sculpt and his arms have been remolded to accommodate his cannons and as a result he looses his retractable blades.

He has a retooled abdominal piece, wind shield pieces and has the blades eliminated. The result looks more accurate to the third movie, plus facilitates transformation.

Any time. As a little bonus, Leader Striker Optimus with the MechTech gear uses the same mold, with the gas tanks retooled. If you want just the Leader mold, it's either or, as the Jetpower's wings can't fit on Striker.

Interesting. Considering Amazon Unicron was released in Canada at TRU, I wonder if something similar may happen with these. Jet Wing Prime is a little too expensive for my taste, but he sure does look cool. Bruticus would have to wait until I see pics of the final product.

Looks like either both sold out in a matter of 30 minutes, or they put these up in error, and we are all gonna get "sorry this item...blah blah blah"

I ordered Jet_prime, I have the Takara, but for 100$, I'll take another one.
I hope I can still pick up the Brute, for that price. That was a steal, Wish I would have paid more attention.

I should have a G2 shelf I'm a sucker for obnoxiously bright neons.

G2 needs more love. I'm not finding anything on Amazon now so I think this might have been a screw up on their end. Maybe they were supposed to wait until after SDCC? When it's available again, I'm getting one!
